Just for your information: The KIOXIA SD card that comes with the handheld is an excellent Japanese product from Toshiba. There is no need to replace it.

How about the rest of the files you have downloaded from the website? Did you load all of them inside the same SD card that you booted with new firmware?

I was wondering if i need to use a card reader, or if I can just plug in the system to my laptop and access it through there.

You'll need a card reader for your PC to flash new firmware.

Wh is the firmware 40GB ? It doesn't make sense to me

Anbernic includes games along with the firmware - that’s why the download is pretty large.
