I see the problem, that happen a lot when you install the Gamma OS. When you install the Gamma OS, the bootloader is unlocked on the Unisoc devices, and all calibration data is deleted, including the battery calibration. Solution: Let the device battery drain until it gets all the way to 0%, and the device refuses to turn on, then charge it to 100%, do this 2-3 times for it to become fully calibrated

I have a RG28XX with that same issue. The way I fix it was by opening the device, disconnect the battery, wait a minute or so and then reconnect the battery. Hope its help.

I have a rg505 with gammaos and the battery draining fast and off itself when play ps2 games on 50 %

What is this higher non recommend charger are you talking about 2.5v or something
