ANC Horticulture and Interment Operations Team Up with Nationals' Park Grounds Crew

On Monday, May 13, members of Arlington National Cemetery’s Horticulture and Interment Operations directorates collaborated with the grounds crew at Nationals' Park, the home of Washington D.C.’s Major League Baseball team, the Washington Nationals.
During the engagement, the ANC team had the opportunity to learn about the ongoing care and maintenance practices necessary to maintain a professional baseball field. In return, they shared their knowledge and expertise regarding the daily operations of Arlington National Cemetery’s hallowed grounds.
Even though the ground crews of ANC and the Nationals have different daily operations and overall missions, they came together to share their passion for maintaining pristine green spaces and ensuring meticulous and professional care of the outdoor environment.
