Dapat po ang gawin immigration ng NAIA isang linggo bago lumipad ang isang pinoy traveller dapat yun ang panahon na magsagawa sila ng interview o screening, hindi yung mismong flight na ng tao sila magtatanong ng kung ano-ano kaya po maraming naooffload at naiiwanan ng eroplano dahil sa mahabang oras ng imbestigasyon nila. At bakit po pag umalis ang isang pinoy bilang turista bakit parang may nagawang kasalanan o may kaso ang pinoy traveller kahit po naman dumaan sa tamang proseso ang visa nya. At bakit po pati ang gastos ng sponsor sa turista ay tinatanong pa nila kung bakit gumastos ng malaki ang sponsor. Hindi na po dapat pa nilang alamin yun. Ang dapat po nilang hingin ng mga immigration officer na yan ay ang mga NBI clearance ng mga turistang pinoy na lilipad ng ibang bansa kung may kaso ba ang mga ito o wala. Malaki ang nasasayang sa mga pinoy na naooffload dahil sa katangahan at katarantaduhan ng mga immigration officer ng Pilipinas... Di nila inisip ang gastos ng mga taong naoffload, balibhasa karamihan sa mga immigration officer ng Pilipinas ay may bayaran at currupt... Dapat sa mga immigration officer ng Pilipinas ay idistino sa mga port area para mag check ng mga illegal entry na banyaga at mga kontrabando magsama sama sila ng mga taga BOC. Dahil pareho silang mga useless sa gobyerno ng Pilipinas.

Thankfully the first time I travelled just last May 2023, the IO assigned to me didn't asked for my bank statement, cause I have none hehe same when I left the country in July. Both of my travels went smoothly naman.❤

To make things easier for the immigration to detect human trafficking, I think they can segregate the passengers by putting a different queue windows, such us those who are traveling alone should have a specific window to queue in. Then for those traveling as family regardless if they are only husbands and wives or with kids. Line would go faster I think.

Ay delayed na yong gagawin nyo na evaluation....ang tao ay sasakay na lng dahil ok na sa host country...ang dapat nyong gawin ay pag nakakuha na sila ng approval sa host country ay pupunta na sa inyo before he/she could get round trip ticket...only then upon availing your primary inspection...give them the check lists to be presented before departure...if the check lists is lacking...wala na kami reklamo. Ang ginagawa kasi ng BIO ay para kumita mag create ng additional requirements na di kayang i-provide ng tao upang makapag negotiate.. Ang tagal-tagal na iyan ginagawa nila....financial capacity is not appropriate for 1st timer other than OFW who have established travel history...there are many travellers who got their sponsorship from friends, relatives, from companies , etc.. Dapat di na dapat idagdag yan...ang iba nangutang...what is important is you are not deprive your rights to travel...kaya, dapat may initial inspections na kayo at bigyan cya ng kaukulang documents na dadalhin pag schedule....para walang masaktan, hindi pag walang ibigay, seguradong off- load na yan!!!!!😂😂😂

Also, they cannot use the public safety or national security reason for this because human trafficking is a crime and in any crime accusation, the suspect is innocent until proven guilty and our rights cannot be taken away without due process. Our laws are designed like that because it's better to let 100 guilty men walk away free than to convict even just 1 innocent person. The supreme court already said that the secretary of justice cannot stop someone from leaving the country if the passenger has no basis for warrantless arrest and if there's no warrant of arrest and hold departure order against him, and BI is under DOJ, so what law gives immigration officers the discretionary power to offload passengers?

Tulungan naman sana. Be open minded and clear sa mga requirements. Words like chances are and most probably/if are vague words. Masyadong technical. Ang daling baliin at manipulahin. There should be specific guideline para sa seasoned traveller, first time traveller, travellers with previous red flags, travelling alone, sponsor travelling. The vagueness of the status is the gray area susceptible for corruption and data privacy act violation. He seems to have good intentions with the belief na d aabusuhin ng IO yung data but in reality wala ng impossible ngayon. Ang impossible na lang ata ngayon is change and death.

Lol, requiring passengers to show financial capacity before being cleared means giving immigration officers discretionary powers to offload passengers, they have NO discretionary power to offload passengers because it will be subject to abuse. Attention immigration officers and the whole BI, you cannot curtail a person's constitutional right without due process, including the liberty to abode. Also, to all immigration officers who compel passengers into showing their bank statements, do you even know the bank secrecy law is a law? Last year, more than 30k people were offloaded and the number of people who are supposed to be offloaded are not even 10%, so how are you gonna justify that usec? The damage was already done. How are you also going to explain the ruling of the supreme court which says that only hold departure order, warrant of arrest and ground for warrantless arrest can prevent a person from leaving the country and the DOJ secretary has no authority to prevent a person from leaving the country without those conditions? Also, in crimes, the suspect is innocent until proven guilty.
