I don't have a patio or balcony. Instead I chose the floor plan that has a very large sunroom. I got lucky and the Sun light is both Easter and Southern exposure. I created my own tropical Oasis in very short time. I have now turned a large planter into a small pond with a waterfall. I have also released 2 male Canary birds ( I like to hear them sing and no songs from the females) and a couple of button quail in there. No chance of being seen in there because I have lined the glass walls with bamboo planted in rectangular trough planters. Was really nice place to enjoy during the brutally cold winter last year.

I got a little bit "different" when I began working with Ancestors. I took a clear glass emptied(don't judge lol) skull shaped vodka bottle and I filled it with dirt from Ancestral homelands and important places , new Tribal Headquarters , Tribal Cultural Center , and a cemetery where some of my family are buried. Given that the opening is located on the top of the skull I place a taper candle in it and all other anything that needs fire gets started with that candle. First one lit , last one extinguished during my Circles. I am a Native American who happens to do ritual the ways a lot of Wiccan Coven's do , I just scatter my Heritage into every working I do

Loved this video, I was thinking today about our ancestors in Andalusia. You cannot imagine how many pagans have told me, not very nicely, 'but you should follow the religion of your ancestors!!!' Oh, ok... Which ones?? My city was founded 2800 years ago by the Phoenicians, but different cultures were around before them, and came after them with their different religions 😂
@Thewitchescookery3 жыл бұрын
Yesyesyes!!! So much agree - a lot of people don't realise that their culture, traditions and beliefs where shaped by a melting pot of different religions and cultures as well. I get so many comments of people interested in 'germanic paganism', not realising that in fact southern Germany was shaped by Roman, Celtic and Germanic culture by equal parts - and so are today's beliefs and traditions

Definitely love that you continue to honour the traditions of the lands that sustain you at the time they do and LOVEEE that no matter where you are, you capture and share the beauty of the cities allowing me a glimpse of worlds I long to see! The opening of this video, from the music, words and filming was next level! And the boys, well… that was an unexpected (but oh so welcome) treat… I’d love to eat!!!… the tapas, I’d love to eat the papas, I mean tapas, autocorrect, honestly! 🤣😂😅.

This is such a fantastic exercise. I was just researching the history here. There were so many tribes in the area! I look forward to learning the differences in their crafts and design work! Asexual sitting here going, I don’t get it. 😂😂 But love your spunk.

The clips proving how "hot" the city is and your reactions to the "views* had me laughing so much 😂 Thank you for being so cute and funny and reminding us that humour is important, even in our work 😉💚 BB

Hola love. Well first of all, thanks for your videos, and funny too, Hope all is well. By any chance do you know how to make oils? I know sometimes people say essential oil is a lot of work. But if by any chance you know an easier way, maybe do a video? Well take care, love. Y gracias.

Thanks so much - glad you enjoy it ❤️ for essential oils you need a lot of patience, material and special equipment so I never made it myself as I don't have a Destillation device. Personally I usually make infused oils - of which I have included some in former vlogs. But I might look into this and maybe make it into a video - definitely an interesting topic ☺️👌💚

Do you think you could do a video on Brujería (i’m trying to learn about witchcraft from Latin America, since i’m Puerto Rican and Mexican), i would like to learn about it more, but i haven’t been able to find many available sources. I’ve heard it’s a closed practice but no one elaborates on that, does it have to be taught to you by a blood-relative? Or is simply being from the region/having ancestors from there or who practiced it but didn’t teach you enough? Also if anyone knows about witchcraft originating specifically from Puerto Rico would you mind telling me about it?

Bruheria encompasses the religionagicks of many Tribal cultures all throughout North , Central , and South America. My advice to you would be to go shopping in Latino neighborhoods and look specifically for stores called a "Botanica". Go in , look around , hang out , ask questions but buy all means buy something while you are there. I grew up in a predominantly Hispanic area in Dallas Texas and I found Botanicas to be fascinating , which lead me to herb stores , and that in turn lead me to an actual witchcraft shop where I met my former High Priestess. Fair warning though most Botanicas cater more towards Santeria with heavy Catholic iconography
