You can grab a rechargeable head lantern. 3 poles a different rig on each pole. Top water column on 1 rod mid water column and bottom. A few soft plastics an procure attractant bloody tuna or catfish candy and trophy bass. Then go fishing for an hour or 2.

I’m unsure of the breaking strength but Normally I use some that are about 3/8” wide but I didn’t have any with me on this day so I used 2 standard size zip ties. Thank you for watching.

The farthest I’ve been up is the mouth of dicks river/high bridge. Had a good night of fishing up there once but haven’t been any farther up so can’t say for sure. Thank you for watching.

We have had several tuff days lately also. Our water temp was 38 earlier this week. Im still trying to figure out these blues . Originally i thought their catfish how hard can it be but boy they have made a fool of me in cold weather . Fresh cut gizzard shad & hardly a bump .

That happened to my buddy and me . Anchor hung up tried to get up with motor rope broke and rapped around prop. Boat turned back end into a boil and under we went in 2 seconds. Lost about 2000 dollars in gear. This was below a damn on ar river in Arkansas. Think I'll will get an Anchor like yours.

OK since, as you say, the fish don't move around as much in the winter, wouldn't you be better off drifting or trolling to go to them? Seems like you'd be more likely to run across a fish that way

I’ve got an xi3 and it doesn’t turn. It will do everything else though. When I hit the remote left or right I hear a wining noise like a gear is turning but nothing is happening. If you can help me figure that out I would be forever in your debt brother

That’s exactly what both mine have done several times. The steering motor gets wet and corroded. You can split the steering box open and get to the motor. Oil the shaft on motor and get it spinning again and it might work for a while. I’ve done that to mine several times but this time the motor has went bad. Thank you for watching.
