This video is informative, but how does the follower know what anchor is going to be lead? There isn't much time to 'guess' when you are dancing to music. Thanks for the video.

Hi Cheryl, Great point! Emily touched on it when she talked about being connected on count 4 of a 6 count pattern or count 6 or an 8 count pattern. A clear connection on that beat will help the partnership communicate a shared anchor variation. To Eliah's comment below... yes brain speed helps. The more you get better at that connection and the more quickly you're able to reach with your different anchor variations... the higher probability that it will all happen "Naturally" ;-) Keep the question coming! Useless. You should demonstrate together each time you teach an anchor step. Don’t show a hundred steps of anchor step without demonstrating it
