That place at the midtown mall used to sell fancy chocolate. There also used to be an Italian soda place at the midtown mall. At least when I was a kid. We used to get Italian sodas all the time there.

I remember that! They'd give out free samples sometimes. Sadly I don't remember the name. There used to be an ice cream place at one end of the mall too, near the Carr's I think. (Breyers?)

@@kettlekorn471 I vaguely remember the ice cream shop. We used to go to Peking Palace and order spicy seafood noodle soup. Then go to the Sears Mall and get Italian sodas. Peking Palace used to have the best spicy seafood noodle soup. I wonder who else would have good spicy seafood noodle soup? Now that they are closed.

Hi, and Happy New Year!! I watched this; your son so cute; loved it when he started that yell, and kept doing it, "the echo"; i smiled; cause my kids did the same thing when they were that age; anyways i patiently watched until the food-court, i'm happy that Chopstick's is stil l there ;) my sister (grhs); she used to walk there and get me their spicy shrimp soup; i loved that. I was wondering if it was still there. Im happy that all or most of the store at Northway Mall migrated there. Anyways great video, you and you family look great, thanks for vid!!!

The downtown mall is the perfect mall to me. Not too many people, lots of selection and no line ups. BTW, those sleeping bag prices are insane.

The problem is, is that so many of us myself included use amazon or simply google lowest price places and order. So we all that do that and take away a ton of business for the local places. So what I am saying is there is only so much demand to justify the supply. I too agree that if someone out there has any great ideas then by all means that would be incredible.
