For real. Collin was a small child the last time he had a relationship with his estranged siblings, and from interviews, it seems Kate poisoned whatever relationship they could have had. I hope the siblings get to reunite if they want to. I lost two of my brothers through closed adoption, and one of them died. I live with my youngest brother, ironically named Jon, but only one of the brothers that I lost through closed adoption is legal age. I have 13 months until I can legally reach out to them. My older brother can reach out to me and my youngest brother now but hasn't, and I don't exactly blame him because I was about 3 at the time, which means he would have been only about 5. My other brother would've been 1, and my youngest brother wouldn't be born until the year after I was adopted. I might have been 3 at the time, but I have some memories, including the last time I saw them and realizing that they were never coming back- they had promised they'd see me the next day because they didn't know that they wouldn't. I'm going to find them, I just need to keep telling myself that it's just 13 months away. I think about them a lot and how they are now. I have lost many family members and I've helped a lot of people, including my friends, out of choosing to take their lives. It somewhat terrifies me that I know nothing about how they are right now or even what their names are or any information about them, because it's a closed adoption and I'm technically not allowed to have information. What I know is their first names, a couple of pictures of what they looked like from when they were maybe 8-9, and a general idea of where they live because my birth mom had that information for a while. I know the last names we shared at some point, although I have no clue if that'd help me with something like records. Its unlikely I'd be able to find them online, and I don't think I'm supposed to.

Watch a show called "Long Lost Family" - both the hosts were adopted and they in turn try and hunt down parents and siblings from the adopted child. All have used Ancestry to try and find any family members. You have a unique situation and I don't know if they are still filming or not, but it might give you ideas in how to find your family. Please, think long and hard while in this process as it is not all rainbows and unicorns. Just prepare yourself emotionally and and seek therapy if you feel the need. Don't want to be a downer, just to prepare yourself for any outcome. Go in with an open mind. Wish you success. ❤

See Kate did what my mom did too my dad. My dad’s biggest fear was our mother running off with us kids. So instead she used us to hurt him. 1st she got him fired from his long term drivers position. How? She waited til he left out of town, then would get drunk and drive us to his depo screaming and acting a fool until his boss, would pull him off the road. After the 3 rd time they fired him. My dad didn’t return home for 4 years. During that time, our car was repossessed, and we lost our house. My mom always told us everything happened because of our dad. My sisters blamed him for not protecting’ us enough from her mental and physical abuse. For us being ‘poor’. My mom refused to work (even though she was very smart and capable!) When I turned 18, I was complaining about my dad. He gave my graduation money too my mom I only received $200 of the $700 he gave her. All of it was to pay for everything for my senior year. I PAID for everything! When I asked her why I only received $200, she said “You better be lucky you got that. I got 4 other kids besides you. Wasn’t going to spend $700 on just you!” She (my mother’s mother) said “You don’t know everything, your father did all he could for you kids; your mother was just determined to make him suffer. You remember when your dad left right? Well did you know your father was sending your mother a child support check every 2 weeks?” I said “if that’s true why did we lose our house and car?” She said “Your grandfather questioned your dad when he called. Why did he call, he couldn’t understand why his checks weren’t going through. He sent enough for the mortgage, bills, and extra for the kids. So your granddad told him to send the checks too him. He called your mom when he got the checks, your mother took the checks and tore them up right in front of us. She was screaming “I don’t want his damn money, I want him here helping to raise these damn kids that he wanted.” I was floored, for YEARS I too had blamed my dad for how we were brought up. I watched many times the game my mom would play with my dad as well. He loved her, but couldn’t be with her without him losing his mind. I was able to forgive him, but not my siblings. It broke my heart knowing he passed without his other kids knowing the full story..

All the kids need to do is watch the show and compare it to either out daughtered or sweet home sextuplets and see how moms of multiples treat them. It is obvious by the fact they don’t talk to Jon how much she has brainwashed them against him and siblings. What sets of multiple siblings cut contact with them unless the parent promotes and brain washings them. Kate was terrible to Jon. I can only imagine by how she acted on camera and how much worse it was off camera. You can’t blame the show bc Kate was like that from the beginning. She was awful to Collin and Alexis second on her disliked children. Hannah was a favorite of Kate’s and proud of her that she left her mom. Hard to believe Kate tried so hard to have children and then treated them like the “help”.
