We're former boaters for years. Due to my husband having a bad hip and a knee, we had to give it up. Seeing places, thru your eyes, is definitely a joy for us to watch your videos! Well done brave souls!

Hello RAN Family. I am a 73 yr old man living in Ballard, WA. I have been sailing with you from the "git go" speaking for myself, it matters NOT where you sail. Its about your love for each other. How you treat your lovely child. Your Husbands sailing skills, maint skills are amazing. Mom you do a damn good job as well, so star safe, be thankful for all. God Bless..."And if the wind is right you can find the joy Of innocence again" written by Christopher Cross

I think one of the main things I get from your videos is the incredible amount of Tranquility in your lives. It will seem strange to you, but I am so envious of what it must feel like to feel that calm everyday. I know there are stressors No Doubt. But my general daily feeling is one of anxiety. And I know many people feel the same way. So thank you thank you thank you.

I like how together you consider your experiences in diverse locations, kind people, forming a balanced opinion and shared experiences. Your love for one another, care and respect for those and things around you, shine throughout. I have fond memories of your fabulous videos over the years. You have always conveyed a skill at combining multiple elements of images, music, narrative, timings, and more. Pre-pandemic (Feb-2020) videos of Alaska, helped me to cope with a broken arm, sleep, and then rise for a demanding day at work on a new project. Would love to support you more, but still have big constraints.

The great thing is the 'no drama' allows them to create even better videos. Their focus is on higher level content, and I guess is more satisfying to create, a virtuous circle.

I too have been watching since your 1st video and I love them. I watch other sailors also but enjoy yours the most. I live in the Rocky Mtns. and because of you I have reacquainted myself with sailing on a lake in Colorado and plan to buy a boat soon. My family live on the east coast so hopefully summer on the water and winter on the skis. I've looked at many boats online and all are being compared to RANII. I just love your boat. Keep enjoying your lives and I hope one day to meet you in person.

Alas, I was not here in the very beginning, BUT I GOT HERE AS FAST AS I COULD! Two remarkable things about today's video, #1, I don't know what camera you're using to film underwater, but it's fantastic, very sharp and clear. The underwater colors are remarkable and every bit professional grade photography! And #2, Thank you so much for spending the time filming Vera! I really enjoy the boat life videos, but Vera is so precious, she's a real superstar! And, thank you so much for taking the time to post your videos! We thoroughly enjoy watching them and look forward to each Friday's video drop!

Started following in Pacific. When we cruised mostly in The Bahama's but a few bareboat charters in the BVIs and French Polynesia, we frequently took long dinghy trips. Since the dinghy was. US registered power boat we had safety gear including a flare gun , spare spark plugs and tools to take apart the carburetor. On longer more remote dinghy trips we also took a waterproof VHF. If your outboard had a catastrophic failure it would be essential to call for help.

2015 in January we flew from Saint V to Union Island, stayed a few nights at the Anchorage and Happy Island. Rented a small motorboat with owner to take the 4 of us out to the keys. Had a beautiful time snorkeling off the beach looking at the turtles swim by. It looks like Jack Sparrow island lost quite a bit of it's sandbar. After an extended party at Happy Island we were happy that the pilot let us back on his plane.

Google is recommending me one of your videos from three years ago or so, when you were searching for a boat. It seems so long ago! And you ended up not selecting any of the 3 mentioned in the title (Koopmans 46, Hallberg-Rassy 49, and Diana 60). After seeing some of the tight spots _Ran II_ has encountered since, I now understand why the 60 was "too big." 😁
