I disagree with your dismissal of 4* heroes. You can make some 4* heroes practically a 5* hero with emblems. I maxed out Grimm, Kiril, Buddy, Boldtusk, Falcon, Wilbur and Jackal, as they're all important mono and Titan heroes. Maxing out Rigard can provide a lot of people with a good alternative to Kunchen if they don't have him. A maxed Boril makes an insane blue tank with his average Mana reposte, and defense. Especially if you add in some of the costumes that just came out, some heroes like Sonya who becomes a fast cleanser with maxed emblems are incredible. Besides which, you can max 3 4* to 1 5*. And for those of us who don't spend $1000+ a month on this game and don't have all 4* Mana troops approaching 30, maxing 4* and getting the talents Mana boost can drastically help our offensive power and speed. Agreed. I've been playing the game for about 2.5 years and only have 3 5* (two are repeats). I went ahead and put emblems in Kiril, Chao, and Sabina and my team holds up quite well in wars and defensive raids

I am more on the defensive track. DEFENCE first. Staying alive for an extra 2-3 rounds and getting to your healer's first special is more critical than a bit extra attack. Just my nickel.

Disagree on saving emblems and using only on 5 stars. For one, not all are whales and spend thousands of dollars, 2. the emblems turn a 4 star into a 5 star, Grimm Sabina Melendor are a few for example that have very high attack and are crazy good when using a 3-2 stack, 3. Ascension mats are rare and take a long time to get for those 5 stars, why wait and sit on emblems when you can level a 4 star for tournaments and events, which in turn give you those mats... spend money to make money (use emblems to get emblems)

Great video as always friend. Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. As with all meta videos, something for all viewers to consider is perspective. I'm reading a lot of comments regarding 5*'s and what 4* can be useful. Each one of us will have a different experience with our experimentation that has worked for us. What Anchor is talking about is a very high level, competitive play where the difference between a 4* and 5* can be, and normally is critical. If you are on the more casual side or FTP side, take from this video the tree prioritization rather than the hero. He shows that offensive heroes can really become devastating through utilizing his Att, Def, Health strategy. Where as your tank or healer may benefit more from high survival tactics before attack. Emblems matter so much on your war defense team. Once you've established those heroes, experiment with your other classes as best suits you. I do believe that following his guide on Att, Def, HP will give you far better results rather than a randomized path. I too have Emblems into Wilbur because hes critical on nearly all Titans and Events. But I stopped at a tier which allowed me to utilize points in other heroes as well. I do not have a Ranger, Fighter, or rogue on my Defense so those three classes allow me to spread out talents to make even more effective teams. My level 18 grid wilbur begs to differ on your dismissal of 4* his stats are better than my maxed azlar and anzogh ..atm im using userna because shes userna but he does just fine to sit diamond ..my hansel is only level 11 his tile damage is a good bit higher than about half the 5* out there..and duuuuuuude ammonia? Realy? Her tile damage is insane my team mate has her at level 18 shes over 1k attack (with troop bonus) before her ghost form....food for though dont dis the 4* mate

I have an exception concerning the 2nd tip which is about Elena. Elena is a hero that deals direct damage to the enemies but most importantly is to stay alive. I see Elena as a pure event hero so she has to withstand the heavy wave of attacks she is taking. And actually, we have to say, she is vulnerable. So i have to take the defensive path for emblems.

Ok let's get one fact straight here first. The amount of 5 star heroes and the rare ones this guy has can only be got through spending a lot of $$$. It's easy to talk emblems and levelling up if you're gonna spend spend spend.

I use fast snipers on both wings, with a double healer combo or healer/defense down hero on flanks (if needed), then the tank. Sometimes just three fast snipers or two and a tank riposte, and two healers on flanks.

Are you sure that achieving more normal chests gives you elemental chest faster ? I tried to count normal chests between elemental chest and did not find a clear correlation (something between 7 and 21 with an average of 13 if i remember correctly). Do you have data on this subject ?

When there is a timer on them, you can pay some gems to have it start with a fresh opening. They increased the rate of how much the gems cost to give you a fresh chest but still allow you to get ascension items wuicker

You're not counting us f2p/c2p players in. I have 1 5* hero so far and can't even fully ascend her. It'll probably be months before I get viable heroes (if at all) to use these emblems on. I think you should make a vid on which 4 stars and even 3 stars would be good to use emblems on for those of us that are trying to be useful to our alliances with what we have. And also perhaps help out in getting better ranks in events

The first tip depends on the ideology of the player. You know we encounter so many players in the weekly tournaments with maxed 3*, 4* having 20 emblems. So those players are oriented toward the tournaments and events rather than wars and normal raids.

When they first came out I tossed some on a couple of 3 stars, but stopped, should I reset them and just store the emblems UN assigned, or should I just leave those 3 stars as they are and hoard for fully leveled 5 stars?

Couple points for people coming in now to this video: with the addition of Aethers (limit break), the game seems to have gotten less stingy with emblem rewards. What was a 10x emblems top tier reward event class class used to take a lot of effort to beat - using items, heros at high levels in the class, etc. -- now I seem to be getting 5x and even 10x emblems semi-regularly from easy stuff like Mystic Vision. Emblems were needed in game construction to bridge a gap - the gap between a fully leveled 3* and a fully leveled 4* is 200 power, unlike all other gaps that are 100. Emblems fixed this and made 3*'s semi-competitive with 4*s, so that casual players wouldn't abandon the game when their fully leveled bunch of 3*s got completely mopped up by a team with a couple of 4*s. But people who are invested in the game recognize the arms race ends at the top, so if you want to play at the top, there is no question you need to have the same weapons as the people at the top you will be fighting, and they are using their emblems to boost their 5*. That's just how it is. Aether is designed in away that also counters effect... it's a way to give the people who spent their emblems on 3* and 4*s to "catch them up", but it will only be in the short term. But because unlike emblems, the aether structure is tiered (meaning they can restrict the amount of 4* aether to prevent hoarding for 5* as was done with emblems), it is likely that it will take longer for the "top" players and alliances to aether up their 5*s than it did with emblems. Presently at the top of the leaderboard, you have a few teams with ONE "aethered" 5* -- usually a red hero. Probably give it another 6 months and it will be TWO to THREE, and in a year or so, we'll be back at the same spot where you have to deal with 5 fully aethered, +20 node 5* heros.

thx for the info as always..but just my perspective..I've been playing for about 6months, maybe more..I only have four 5* heroes (only 3 good ones) and in that 6months+ have just ascended my 1st 5* hero to ascension lv4..it could be a yr or more before I even have 2 5* heroes available for emblems..however, I have been using emblems on my best 4* and 3* heroes, using them in weekly tourneys, doing well and having fun..imo, I would rather play it this way and have some fun knowing that I'm saving gems and reset tokens to reset them down the road..I respect u and I'm not disagreeing with the info in this vid at all..but with a small budget, it could take yrs for players like me to have a full roster of great 5* hereos to emblem..guess I just feel kinda stuck with how to proceed with the roster I've got and am likely to have in the near future..thx as always..love ur content..

There are a few shots of the new event heroes in there and I don't think its a big deal but since this is in your channel and SG doesn't like that stuff though I don't think they care much outside the SG forum, I just thought I would mention it. Snow White, Grimble, G. Gazelle, Vela, Puss N Boots, G. Chameleon, Pixie, G. Bat. This is a great resource though with the whole screen shot so you can see how the new skins fit. I think it will be a flop since for 300 gems you can pull for a new hero instead of a costume for an old hero that you might not even have.

Hi there, DarkSagan. How to skip your chests is easy. Just make sure you have 20 gems and after you collect your loot from the chests quickly press on the chest and it will skip but you must have 20 gems in order to fast forward/ skip the wait time on the next chest. For your next question - to remove emblems you must have a red reset button. Hope that helps

I don’t agree. I agree with the importance of collecting emblems, yes, but the choice is either do those multiple pulls to get the 5*-or wait. Wait to get them randomly. In the meantime, I will learn more about the game by using 3&4 and I give them as much power as possible. You are a player that spends lots on getting the 5 🌟 & then become a star player. It’s just as satisfying to play others with 3&4 star, and it feels like you’re not rushing into that kind of commitment (with the investment). Then there are the new costumes, they also increase the power of 3/4s. The point is that not everyone wants to immediately rise up in this game, because that’s too expensive. Your channel is for experienced and high level players, mostly.

@@normalee8702 No, you dont have to stop and I dont, especially when I have a lot of unused world energy. The thing is after filling and using chest there is 12 hours time to "recover" it. Then you can continue to fill it, but you can skip that time using gems. Personally I do it only if it says 1-4 diamonds. I.m free to play player and I dont have a lot of gems. Cheers :)
