Ancient Egyptian | Ambience & Music - Cleopatra's Bedchamber

8th of July 28 BCE - the sun sets and the full moon rises as the last golden rays of light of touch the balcony of the queen's bedchamber. You are one of the lucky few who the illusive Cleopatra has taken a more personal interest in. As you make yourself comfortable you observe her servants preparing her chamber, filling your cups with mulled wine for what would become a long night under the Egyptian stars.

I find myself studying ancient Sumerian tablets late into the night as the queen sleeps softly after our rendezvous. The evening air is cool, and the elevated view from the patio is otherworldly. “I’ll come find you again after a little nap,” she playfully coos as she drifts off peacefully…Now, where was I?

Commenting to say that although this isnt directly inspired by the Trojan war i listened to this on repeat whilst reading 'The silence of the girls' by Pat Barker earlier this year and it made for such an amazing reading experience! I'm listening to this one again as i read Stephen Fry's Troy, and would love if you made a video of the Greek camps outside Troy, or within the walls of Troy. :)
