This is probably the best ancient gear decklist I’ve seen. There’s so much versatility. The only thing I don’t like about it is the lack of negates, which are needed to do well against meta decks.

You can run something like forbidden droplet, imperenance, or xyz monster with negates

Little tip this deck is savage but add 1 trap card royal decree this makes it so you have some trap defence before you get your big gears out that negate traps

Question: is it possible to combine all "Earth" type Machines (Machina, Infinitrack, Train and Ancient Gear) into a consistent deck? I'm always baffled by the fact nobody runs Ancient Gear in an "Earth" Machine deck

Consistent with machina, infinitrack, train and gear is very much possible. If you use drill to ss from hand, machina to search and use the boss monsters to boss Rush, train for extenders, and gear fusions but none of the boss ancient gear monsters (aka, reactor or golem). The problem is machina has a lot of floating abilities and Gears has field and atk power. So to balance it out I would suggest to only have no more than 4-6 cards of ancient gears because the gear cards are very clunky because of the support on them has been very very limited. I would say the main forces of materials of Gear would have to be coming from the extra deck. If you're trying to make chaos giant then that would be the best way. 2 ballista in extra, 1 chaos giant, 1 anaconda, 2 gears in main deck. That would leave a lot of room for hand traps and room for the train extenders, infinitrack summers and machina floaters as the main deck boss monsters.

Verte gets you monsters in the GY and can lead to a OTK

Ah, yes. The introduction to GX. At least until the Elemental Heroes proved their worth. Do you think Machines can sweat nervously? My only complaint is that this archetype is incomplete. There are a *bunch* of anime-only cards, and it irritates me (to put it nicely) that they haven’t been turned into real cards. There are quite a few archetypes in this situation, including one I play: Salamangreat. Come on, Konami! Finish what you started! Don’t leave us unsatisfied!

With my ancient gear deck I took out all distractions. Also bro I recommend using elemental hero E hero prisma Sends a material to gy and becomes AGG then use AGG fusion, materials from deck to GY then summon chaos. Now u got materials in GY so now u can use overload or predaplant. By the way You should also try the Vanity’s emptiness x AG Howitser combo lol

Dudes I run droplets and chain it when my opponent negate the urgent or catapult send them to the grave it still triggers and the droplets breaks the board

droplet does not trigger things like gear town or fortress. Since they need to be destroyed, and droplet sends to grave.

@@mikegames7719 certainly but in an old deck like ancient gear it is particularly important for catapult or urgent schedule to resolve it will make or brake the otk so droplets is really useful and it wasn't included in the building it can even help get more gears in the grave for overload fusion.

If you only run 1 driver doesn't that make the other 2 gamma dead cards after the first pops it's effect?? They get banished. So driver is in the graveyard.. any explanation?

@@veg0machine Ah, but the beauty is that Chaos Ancient Gear Giant is unaffected by Spell/Trap Cards. Magic Cylinder can't negate the attack, therefore, can't reflect the damage. Only thing it has to worry about is Monster Effects, and they can't activate during the Battle Phase either.
