Outstanding! I remember when they began taking our Commandments, our Constitution and even forbidding the Bible, prayer and Bible studies in class. My parents threw a fit and may I say, that was the beginning of failing schools, failing marriages and a failing society. Very sadly, the Western brought the gospel to the Eastern people but today they are totally changed, they do not practice what they taught/preached to us over a century ago, as an Indonesian I feel sad about what happened especially to the American government and the majority of their Christian society. I'm worried about what Pastor Wayne Cordeiro said to Chinese church leaders when he was in meeting with them in China back to more than a decade ago. He said that he did not want to pray for them to become like the American church but the other way around. Though you are correct the word “America” is not mentioned that’s not how eschatological passages are interpreted. Scripture does not mention involved countries by name in many cases but it does mention regions and traits of nations. That is why parallels can be drawn between Sodom, Babylon, and Egypt with America and Gogg and Magog to Russia and Iran. True these exact countries may not be involved and the world could go on for 1,000,000+ years with more nations rising and falling. Or not. And we are near the end. And it’s the “or not” possibility that has people all abuzz. The problem is when people make dogmatic statement like “this is absolutely the end.” We don’t know that. As for believing we're in the end times, read 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2. Paul corrected them because they were saying it was then. That was in Paul's lifetime. We've been in the end times since Christ ascended into heaven. Read Matthew 24 and count the times that Jesus tells us nobody knows when it comes, but to worry about today. The whole chapter is end times, it could be today, tomorrow, or another 1000 years.... The subject is up to an individuals interpretation. How they read prophecy, literally or figuratively. Plus, are they looking for something in today's world that proves their beliefs. Which in itself is a problem because prophecy is written to be understood by those involved when happening. Lots of people won't understand it then, but the Christians living thur it will. Reading biblical prophecy today is to give us a glimpse of future spiritual conditions & events. Not specific events or places. Past biblical prophecies did occur. Read Isaiah & Jeremiah, both prophesied about Israel's destruction. Isaiah long before and Jeremiah right when it happened. They named Israel. Biblical prophecy doesn't have a time frame. It can occur anytime and any place. That's why Jesus said to worry about how we're living our lives today. No matter what happens, where it happens, it's part of God's plan. Until then, I'm going with what Jesus said. I'm not worrying about it, I'll worry about how I'm living my Christian life in all matters, especially concerning God & people. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith. Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews....

You will also note, v.21-23, that it is the Messiah who regathers them "from among the heathen." Israel was scattered though. Look up the jewish diaspora. Israel was re-established in 1948 based on the 1917 Balfour Declaration with "lord" Rothschild and Admiral Balfour. Scripture starts with Genesis,not Exodus.. There were always ONE people of God ALL But ALL started to build the Babel,so God scattered them and confused their languages.. Gen 11:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. John 11:52 and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather together in ONE the children of God who were scattered abroad. After God scattered people,He took out one man Abraham,and started to rebuild,but under His terms..Oneness in the Spirit,not the flesh.. Its just people are blind to think that God work locally .
