Wow that log on that truck is huge, I hope some of it gets to stay in NZ it's really special timber that needs to be used for special projects and it would be nice if Maori can carve some of these as their art can than be seen for thousands of years to come as this wood seems to have a soul and I'm sure some Maori people believe it does.

Sad to see what was a beautiful oasis now a bear land cattle ranch, and to say it has been in the ground for thousands of years is bull crap! can clearly see the clean cut at the base of the tree from a saw. Assuming it was buried on purpose and as time went on cash in on it .
