Awesome to hear, and thanks for watching! We've noticed more and more comments on this video lately. Did you come upon the game on Board Game Arena, or do you own it for the table?

THanks for the video. Yes, I have come because the BGA video was so terrible. Your explanation was excellent :)

Thanks for that comment, and for watching of course. I hope that the video helped you get the game to the table a bit more easily.

@@meeple Yes it did...started my first games on BGA with some friends to test this game out. I do explain games quite often, too but not in video form. 👍🏻 This is my honest feedback.

Is the very last tiebreaker, "whoever ist the most acient player" refer to the age of the players?

Nice explanation. This finally makes sense to me. I must stop trying to learn games by playing them on BGA :)

Is it just me, or is the graphics very reminiscent of Unmatched? Not that there's anything wrong with it, the cards are legible because of it.
@meeple Жыл бұрын
I see that now! Yeah, both use a very clean approach to their graphic design for sure.

Minor error at 12:42.

Nice catch. One of the cards has its knowledge circled instead of its point value.

Not big of a deal, thanks once again for the "clean and simple" tutorial, i mean simple because it`s well explained and the rules are clear by this video. Tomorrow i´ll teach it to my wife and hopefully we will have an wonderfull experience.@@meeple

Ok just played our first game today, completly loved it, the combo mechanic is key, i like it a lot best thing in the game. My wife got the rules right at my first explanation. Easy to learn, a little hard to master. The artwork is a little to simple (clean) for my taste, compared for example to imperial settlers, i would like to see more detail in those cards, but that`s just a minor complain. Another "issue" that happened during our first game was that the learn level 2 was depleted, both of them, should be more level 2 cards (learn boards). Anyway it`s a game that i will enjoy, the quantity of cards wich opens the possibility of so many combo mechanics, i love it. And thanks for your video, i didn`t had to read the entire manual, i´ve readed anyway skipping some parts but it`s kind of a ritual for me.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the game, and thanks for watching our video. Regarding your question about the Level 2 cards, did you remember to use two tiles of Level 1 cards for the first half of the game, and flip one of those to the Level 2 side ONLY after the mid-game point?
@carrapice Жыл бұрын
Yes we did it right, but my wife is a "learn tile grabber" eheheh, she was always going for them, anyway that only hapenned on our first game, i´ve played it several times by now, it`s my kind of game. an like i said before your video is right on spot, excellent explanation of the rules.

so the only purpose knowledge tokens serve is to not end up as negative points? u would think a game with " knowledge" in the title would make better use of these tokens...like for instance using the "knowledge" to discover(draw) new monuments.. odd wrinkle to an otherwise interesting game...having said that i think its a great game that i want in my collection.
