She is an amazing lyre instructor, Arnavi. We couldn't agree more! :) She is among the reasons so many lyre players emerged all over the world the last year, thanks to the amazing work LyreAcademy.com team is doing!

I'm so glad I found this video! I've been trying unsuccessfully to find a way to prop my lyre so I could play with both hands. Thank you!

Our friends on LyreAcademy team are doing such an amazing work, we feel privileged to support them to make their dream (and the dream of every aspiring lyre player around the world) come true! Their response is always super-fast, even when they have to prepare extra educational material for their growing students' community upon request! More at lyreacademy.com/

Thanks for watching! :) Before choosing your lyre, try to find a luthier with an excellent reputation, able to support you after the purchase. The LUTHIEROS family has an immaculate reputation based on our listeners' feedback and LyreAcademy's students. I am interested in getting a lyre like yours. The only question is lyres similar to yours has long strings. Are they easy to buy or what type of strings do you use?

Thanks for watching, Jose! These lyres are masterfully handcrafted in Greece by the amazing LUTHIEROS team. You can also find extra strings specially designed for the lyre at their website, www.luthieros.com! There are two types of strings that are great for the ancient lyre: a. gut strings, if you want to be historically accurate, and b. sugarcane strings. Both are of premium quality, resulting in great sound. The sugarcane strings are more durable. Here are their links: - Sugarcane strings: luthieros.com/product/sugar-strings-set/ - Gut strings: luthieros.com/product/strings-for-ancient-and-early-musical-instruments/ Changing the strings, retuning, etc., is also quite simple.
