Intriguing. I've heard and read about the graffiti in Pompeii before, but I loved this walk-through of what these people - people very much like you and me - left on the walls for each other to find. It's amazing that it's been preserved for as long as it has. A peak into the lives of ordinary people a looooong, long time ago.

WOW, it's really amazing. I love how the speaker attracts attention by using some life examples. And the whole material is very interesting. I also would like to mention that this lecture is good for people who study English (as me). Thanks for this video ❤

When a negative thought has you in its undertow, break the circuit. Interrupt the pattern simply by breathing in. Focus your attention elsewhere until the negative thought no longer owns you. You own it. And you can decide what to do with it. Journal. Walk. Have a conversation with it. Treat it with compassion. Your breath will buy you these options and many more.

Perhaps Iuvenilla is not an inidvidual girl's name, but a generic name, similar to the English words "juvenile", here meaning a child. A female child was born. The a is often the female version of a word in Italian/Latin. So it's kinda like Juvenilla, only they (Romans) also sometimes spelled the J as I. From memory some dialects didn't have J initially. So Julius Caesar was also found as Iulius Caesar.

I wonder if the baby's name was really "Iuvenilla" or if the parent was just saying that the baby was a "juvenile girl."

The current consensus is that the eruption did not take place on August 24th but later in October. This is based on dated graffiti and seasonal seeds

It's difficult to separate the widespread violence and cruelty during the Ancient Roman era when looking back nostalgically.

Since you mention the Ancient Romans and your last name is Clarke, I'll tell you about some cruelty and violence in Rome. The racially and genetically exclusive tribe to which the owner of this channel belongs (and you too from your last name) are known long ago as the Khazarians. In the third quarter of the first century, several Khazari Operatives infiltrated Rome, and hid their Khazarian identity. Through deception, suggestion, and bribery, these Operatives were able to influence politicians to gradually open certain gates/borders of Rome -,Allowing many more Khazari to enter. As the Khazarians established a stable and comfortable life there into the second century, many extensive artifacts, gold, and gifts that were laiden at the feet of the Roman Gods started to come up missing. Furthermore, Roman Children here and there were becoming victims of things I cannot mention on this site. Then one day there was a big event in which the Khazarians were caught Robbing a woman of her gold jewelry and gifts that she was on her way to offer for the Gods. At this point, Romans started an investigation into the Khazarians and found an incredibly large amount of crimes they had been involved with in six months, including unspeakable ones that have to do with very small victims. Many people wanted the Khazarians executed, but the Roman government had mercy and banished them from the empire forever. This is because the Khazarian Kommunist Klan is a cancer on every nation they enter. Every nation that takes the Khazarian Klan in with open arms ends up forcibly removing them down the line, and warning other nations never to allow them in. Your Racially exclusive, White Supremacist bloodline, including Klaus Schwab, Yuval Noah Herrari, Henry Kissinger, the Rothschilds, Anthony Fauci, etc, have been kicked out of 109 nations. Do some research on your tribe, but then again, you probably already know what I'm talking about so let me leave you with this: Your Khazarian Kommunist Klan will NEVER succeed in the Gentile Genocide. STOP ANTIGENTILISM STOP THE ERASURE OF GENTILES STOP THE DEMORALIZATION OF GENTILE NATIONS. GENTILES UNITE AND MOBILIZE.

Love it! A bit of caution. These examples are impossible to interpret. Easy to apply modern standards to ancient ways. No reason to assume ancients were disgusted by urine. Keep in mind they loved to eat door mice. I prefer the epitaphs of the graves along the roads. Can you not learn the most from a person’s last words?
