It is just tours now. The previous owner recently passed away, but did used to live in the inn. It was also once open as a bed n' breakfast. I would have loved to stay the night, ha ha. There are so many haunted places in the States that I really want to visit. I'm not sure when I'll make it back there, but I will be back one day! Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Kentucky is high up on my wishlist! 🖤🖤🖤

I went with a company called Haunted Happenings and I highly recommend them, if you wanted to check them out. Just looked back at this and noticed it too! Great spotting, no idea how I missed that when editing. I have been there! if you want to know another 'creepy' place, Nottingham Castle AND the forest. If you look at Robin Hood, they talk about blyth ,nottinghamshire. .Blyth is the town where my cousins to my direct ancestors de Cressi had lived. And they were 'undersheriff' of Nottinghamshire during that time period. I love history too much! :)

I really love the spirit box. You asked 'How many spirits are in this room with me' and I heard almost a musical reply 'Spirits' on the box. I know some doubters will say this is outside sound but I feel that some are direct answers and sometimes with these evil entities you may hear noises. When you asked 'Is this your room' I most certainly heard 'yes'. It is creepy. I know I wouldn't sleep well in any rooms in the inn. yikes.

Thanks Lisa. I can't lie - I am a skeptic of the spirit box, myself. But I must admit I have also picked up some really interesting responses. I think my favorite one was in Chillingham Castle dungeon. The walls were thick and we were in the middle of nowhere (so radio station interference very unlikely) and I got super clear responses. What is more strange, is neither Jarrad or I heard them at the time of filming 🖤🖤🖤

Also, when you ask what his name, he repeat "xander" also after that, I heard "devil" @ 14:05. I just recently discovered your channel and I really enjoying it. I sometimes add glitch/sound FX during the story telling parts of my videos, but when I do it is obvious for effect/re-enactment only. I never add any during the paranormal investigation parts.When I see 666 I hear an exhaling sound, which to be honest, could have been me as I was leaning forward (because I slowed down the footage, it sounds deeper than what it probably was). I don't know about the whispers/laughs. There was another tour group in the building on the lower floors of the building. It could have been them perhaps? 🖤🖤🖤

I'm what's called a Heyoka Empath and let me tell you, the mere site of this place makes my stomach feel weird and my head ache a bit (in a sense, it's like the Anguished Man painting, I can't even look at it without feeling like I'm suffocating or about to vomit). My goodness my dear, you did a solo investigation with very old and very haunted place. Also just an FYI incubus/succubus are one entity but shapeshift depending on if your male or female (my opinion) Also in the pagan faith (in my opinion) witch isn’t offensive nowadays but back then it was a bad thing. Anyway, but as being a intuitive empath this place feels dark but welcoming at the same time its strange but I adore that place. I’m from the US but I feel like the UK is home and I’m not sure why but still Good Job loved this!

Whats the piece equipment that you use to get words out of the spirits?

Hi Courtney! Thanks for the question. This is called a spirit box. I use the psb7 model. It is basically a device that sweeps through radio stations really quickly. Some people believe that spirits can use this to communicate and that voices that come through the top of sweeps could be those of ghosts. I try to remain skeptical though, and it is possible that voices coming through are just radio interference! 🖤🖤🖤

What a great video, Amy! I've read this is the most haunted place in the World, one internet site. Maybe they are more receptive to hearing spirits than I am. I'd like to stay the night in the room in the Attic. Creepy. I don't think I'd like the Bishop's room. I guess I'm thinking of the incubus scene from Ghostbusters. It seems that building over gravesites seems to encourage this sort of stuff. Did you find anything like marching soldiers in the basement? Being as ancient as this place, who knows the full story of went on there. Thanks so much, Amy! So, are you going to buy Britain's most haunted house? I've seen a website where someone interviewed the last owner, and he said it was terrifying, knowing all the children were sacrificed there.
