Ancient Temple build ~ Dungeons and Dragons Terrain

This time I build an ancient temple inspired by the ancient Aztec and Mayan temples. A team of adventures needs to venture into the temple to rescue a trapped comrade before the human sacrifice. Watch along to see how I made this temple feel free to follow along and make your own!

Chichén Itzá is a complex of Mayan ruins on Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. A massive step pyramid, known as El Castillo or Temple of Kukulcan, dominates the ancient city, which thrived from around 600 A.D. to the 1200s. Graphic stone carvings survive at structures like the ball court, Temple of the Warriors and the Wall of the Skulls. Nightly sound-and-light shows illuminate the buildings' sophisticated geometry

This build looks GREAT! I think the work you put into the bricks and texture was worth it -- it really sold the piece as being a solid building, and the wash made it pop. Thanks for posting this, it was quite enjoyable to watch. I hope your players get a huge kick out of it.

I'm going to share a very simple idea for stairs I learned after having the same issue. Cut your stairs but where the next step touches the one below, cut in at an angle. This gives you more true to size steps and the bases can balance in and be held in place. Hope that helps. Great Build!

Hi. Great video. Everyone from the terrain community, instead of using aluminum ball use tree bark. Way better texture. Try it.

I always use stones. Aluminium balls don't have a large enough texture. I haven't used tree back but I'll give them a shot at some point
