Man, I was watching this while focusing on some grading and I was answering points before you'd say them. Such as, when you were mentioning the cartouche, I said "It's called a cartouche." when you were describing its shapes. Gotta say; you did your research well. I'm a history teacher and if I had it within my schedule this semester I'd love to do a project like this with my students and use your video as an inspiration to get started. This is fantastic! I rewatched it after I finished it to pay closer attention to your hard efforts. Well done, as always!

@@EricsHobbyWorkshop You sure did! I'd love to see you take a jab at other ancient themes. Your hieroglyphics were really clean, too. Usually, hieroglyphics are read right to left, top to bottom - however, the language can be written both directions. The figures face the direction in which it is written, which yours did! Awesome stuff, man!

I've done a similar build on a smaller scale. Printed out the statues from 'Scan The World' on my Elegoo mars, and used the foam the printer came packed in to make the surrounding stonework. It felt a fitting use for material that might otherwise go in the bin !

holy moly you saved me a lot of time in the futre. i am curenty working on some sediment stone terain for my 40k table. i also started by cuting horizontal lines in the foam, but then like a foll i chip away small bits of foam with a screwdriver and it has taken my so many hours up to this point of time that i paused the projeck allready several times. From now on i will use your method. thanks eric

I recently started building table top terrain, about 6 months ago and man your skills blows me away! I've learned a LOT from watching your videos, like cutting individual bricks and gluing them onto my building's for example. Thanks for all your work and I look forward to seeing more. I also thought to add some runes to one of my builds and looked up ancient druid runes but I hand painted them on, not nearly to the extent that you did hear lol but it definitely added a bit to the build.
