Thank you father. I know you love us, it’s what I appreciate the most about you. It is like an oasis in the desert. As an American, I think you have hit the nail on the head. We have turned politics into a sort of moral war, and we see people who support the other “side” as enemies. Such division and hatred can only help the Devil. We need to vote and act with Love and realize that those who support the “other” side are Images of God and often have more in common with us than not.

The trail of tears never ended here in the US as we intermarried it took new forms on all of us. Pray for us, friend.

Trump can do well, but what he needs to get there in the election cycle exploits those prone to zealotry. Best example I can give in a small blurb.

If I was to offer feedback or a suggestion to father to sound "less political" is considering that political choices are not always a lack of compassion or love, but also a matter of economics and taxation. A country cannot operate as an unlimited charity to the rest of the world and take everyone in to then offer them unlimited healthcare and education without then having to significantly increase taxes on everyone. By focusing only on compassion in differentiating between two terrible choices, it does convey which side he prefers and ignores the economic reality the laity have to live with when they have a family. Our Christian faith should call us to action to do the work of Christ and that compassion should be the focus of the Church. If father wants to come across as apolitical, then he needs to speak to the wider breadth to why people would pick either major side of support the smaller third party options. We should not pretend their is a right Christian option, but father does speak in a way that seems to shame one more than the other without speaking on the exponentially increasing US federal debt and inflationary impact of stimulus that impacts everyone. The US cannot be a bastion of compassion without running itself economically into the ground and ignoring that element of political decision making is painting one side as less Christian than the other and evokes the reaction that father is picking one side over the other. I do not vote for either major party and firmly believe all politicians are anti-Christs who operate on lies, greed, and pride. Being a politician seems to be the fastest path to hell in my opinion and they are trying to drag everyone else with them.
