60 days of history with ZaZa Ali - Day 13 | Hatshepsut's mortuary temple was built during the 18th dynasty and is considered to be a masterpiece of ancient architecture. It is best known to the ancient Egyptians ad Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies) and is said to have taken 15 years to complete. There were over 100 limestone sphinxes, 22 granite sphinxes, 40 limestone status of Hatshepsut, and 28 granite statues of Hatshepsut.
