Ok... Before I get to rating the theme, in terms of lore this just bought more questions than answers... It's already hard to even understand who or what Sovereign simulacrum even is... Now there's the ??? Again just like in Metastasis Benign..... I'm terrified to find out what else is lurking within the shrooms... But for some reason I'm also excited and it makes me wonder more about Terra (or whoever is replacing her) in the lore. Now ask for the theme itself, it is once again superb. I already thought Extinction was super unsettling but this makes it even worse somehow. I'm excited to see what the super ancient of the shrooms has to offer.
