The most amazing thing (which shows Tarantino's genius in picking Soundtracks) is that this is actually the Demo-Version. You can hear fingers sliding on the strings... Usually musicians and engineers try to avoid that radically. But for the mood in the movie-scene it is perfect. It creates such an beautiful intimate acoustic environment that it feels like Elisa sings just for you. Tarantino really is a genius.

I agree with Tarantino being a genius , especially in Django .... but the song is Ennio Morricone and Elisa and it was created independently from the movie as always with tarantino in exception of hateful eight which morricone made the score.

“fingers sliding on the strings” do not determine if it’s a demo or not. That’s part of the instrument’s, and the recording of the songs intimate nature… beautifully captured in this version.

@@CuzCutz Well, you're right about picking and sliding sounds... But I think they are very present in this version. My comment about this being a demo is based on Elisa telling it in an interview.
