It's great to see you're wanting to do your bit to help our prickly friends but can you please take advice from a rescue. Please don't feed nuts or mealworm. Nuts can become lodged in the roof of their mouths leaving them unable to eat, it also doesn't give them them correct nutritional needs and can make them extremely poorly. Mealworm/caliworms will cause a painful death for them called MBD. Kitten biscuits and water are all they need putting out to help them and closer to hibernating a little cat meat to help fatten them up. I've noticed on a few videos some confrontation between hogs in the feeding station, to help prevent serious injuries a 2nd entry/exit is advised. When they bite each other they can not only cause infections but also break bones to one another so if we can help by allowing one to get out the way instead of becoming trapped we will hopefully see less coming in with fight injuries, even worse having to be pts because a limb can't be saved 😢.
