My dog trainer told me being able to sit up (or "sit pretty" or my command is "say please") takes a LOT of core strength for a dog. Small dogs will offer up the behavior more frequently, and can hold it longer. Such a big boy (and Gypsy) doing it is so impressive!!

My favorite ever Elton John song is "Tiny Dancer" which is perfect for you Molly! You can be his Tiny Dancer since you're so small! (No shade, I barely made it to 5 foot tall, we literally threw a party. I was 19!) I think "Sir Elton" since Elton was knighted at Buckingham Palace being a longtime close friend of Princess Diana. Sir Elton is a perfect name for Elton John the fluffy guide dog! This was the dog I chose from the start. He is SO PERFECT! And stunningly beautiful. Oh and the hind leg thing, my service dog (a Husky-Malamute too pretty for words, annoyingly so because people don't leave us alone or yell "PRETTY DOG!" across public places like the grocery store), she does the same thing with her leg and she wants the inside of her thigh scratched and her belly rubbed and scratched. And she will also use her front leg and hook it on your wrist and push it down to her belly if you pet her when she's sitting up. It's quite rude but it's all about the "bell-bell" as I call it. Oh and grooming.... .yeah, that's something I don't EVEN want to talk about. And I used to be a groomer. So it's worse. I'm extremely particular. The shedding....omg the shedding. He's wonderful Molly! I am so happy to see how happy you are. And that picture of you and Bennie is PERFECT for your new place. 😍 I LOVE Elton John! He's incredible and so so perfect for you. Oh and by the way, my service dog's name is Presley. She's a girl. I just liked the name and spelled it wrong. Elvis's last name has two S's spelled Pressley. Tbh, it was an important bit of reassurance for me to know that the name of your first guide dog came from a band, bc the G-word has a very complex history, and among some people, is considered a slur against Rromani people! Knowing that the name comes from a band who themselves are of Rromani descent contextualizes the name for me, even if it's still not my favourite word to hear in videos. (Not laying any blame here, as I know that was the dog's name, but more sharing my thoughts/feelings on it.) Elton John is a wonderful name for a dog, and I'm glad you've found a great match. Molly, I love how you can sense everything that’s happening just by barely touching or feeling it. Like when he’s going nuts and somehow you quickly pat and scratch him in appropriate spots as though you can see exactly what’s going on (I feel like I’d poke him in the eye or ear or something!) or when he kept lifting his foot up and you noticed immediately. It’s so cool! Your sense of what’s going on around you is so keen.

Spacial awareness :) When it's all you know, or such a large part of what you know, you get to where you just know certain things about what your dog is doing by touch. We kinda don't have a choice, but also, more than that, we learn how to feel and sense it. It's nothing magnificent, it's just ... tapping into different senses. For what it's worth, I still sometimes poke my poor dog in the eye from time to time :( I feel awful when I do it, b ut she doesn't seem to care.

Mitsou makes sense in that theme. Mitsou is actually a singer from Qc who was very popular at the beginnings of the 90s. I listened to her a lot when I was a kid. She's now a successful bussiness woman and tv personnality. Oh! And my favourite Elton John song is I'm still standing! ;)

Can I just say that I called it from the beginning that E was gonna be your dog? Y'all just had the best chemistry in that first video. Your face lit up and he was so excited and happy. Like this is my human. You commented something like "you're a short little guy aren't you?" or something like that and I immediately heard in my head the voice you use to animate your dogs go "yeah, just like you mommy".
