I'd love to hear more from Sunobar. Transitioning to a new country, a new language, starting eduction and O&M for the first time at at 13 (which is a challenging and hormonal age to be, even under ideal circumstances!) must have been so hard, but she has clearly done amazingly well. If she's comfortable sharing, I'd love to hear more about her life and experiences and what she's doing now.

Cinnabar is beautiful and so impressive! There's nothing this woman can't do I have no doubt. And Ellashae is so adorable, beautiful and smart and it's so cool that your vids prepared her in so many ways for the technical side of things. What a blessing to have had that so she didn't have to worry so much about the technical while all the emotional/draining stuff was happening too. She's going to do great. What lovely women, thanks for introducing us!

These two young sweet powerful ladies (i’m 31 but feel old now as well, molly) have both so incredibly much to be proud of. I can’t imagine the life journey Cinnabar has gone through so far. You must be such a smart, independent, strong persevering woman to go from starting in a new country with no formal education, to being in university working with a guide dog while speaking 4 languages only 10 years later! And Ellashae is just as smart and amazing in her own right, being relatively young, going through such intensive screening to apply for a guide dog, and then showing up knowing so much already, she’s done her homework! I think we just saw a video with 3 future boss ladies for sure! Cinnabar, Ellashae, and of course Molly, please stay true to the wonderful people you are, the world will be a better place for it!

Molly, you just astound me. What an effective representative of the blind you are. It is interesting to hear that the second gal you interviewed studied your videos to improve her likelihood of passing at the school. Most of what I know about the blind is from having watched your videos for several years. Interestingly, I have a friend (who is 82 years old) who taught the blind for her entire career, and she was a teacher of braille to Stevie Wonder when she was a student teacher and Stevie was somewhere around 10 years old. Thanks again for all your energy, expertise and for being such a wonderful contributor to humanhood.

I always say (when someone who speak multiple languages apologizes to me for their “bad English”) “never apologize for knowing multiple languages. I *_ONLY_* speak English, and can barely speak it at times. You can talk and understand MULTIPLE languages at once. I’m in awesomesauce of you!!!” And then the smile that comes on their face makes my heart sore!!! I hate when people knock on those who have “broken English/whatever language.” Like… bruh. How many can you speak. Anytime I hear someone can speak more than one language, it just shocks me, because I’m so bad at learning languages. Edit to add- it’s supposed to say “I’m in awe of you”, but I have a shortcut where awe is awesomesauce, soooo 🤦🏼♀️😂

@@anainesgonzalez8868 you should never feel bad! Especially if English isn't your first language. It's a difficult language to learn even as a native English speaker! I usually feel guilty that I only know one language, but that's also a sign of American culture and our education system here.

Also Thankful your videos have allowed me the pleasure of befriending and knowing how to properly guide an elderly man in my neighborhood; who's blind and uses a cane and occasionally needs help crossing our very un-accessible to all crosswalk. My heart broke when he said sometimes in winter or because of covid he has had to wait more than an hour to cross 1 street even when asking people for help because nobody wanted to touch him because of covid, they were cold and didn't want to go out of the way, or looked down on him because he's homeless. 😭 He's such a sweet man so thanks so much for teaching me to make my presence known, ask if he needs help before trying to help, how to guide stairs ect and asking how he would like me to guide him (elbow, shoulder, which side, ect.) He may just be 1 person but your videos truly help others and educate on so many things people who haven't been through or had a close person go through may not think of. Much love from Chicago

Molly you are such an amazing and inspiring woman. I so enjoyed watching your interview with Dr. Mike. I immediately subscribed to your channel and have enjoyed watching all your videos about your life. Until I understood more about your condition I did not think you were as blind as you are. You make eye contact with those you speak with and as well as the camera as you are videoing and that is just phenomenal. The way you engage with your audience is absolutely so genuine. I think it is wonderful that your mom and dad are still able to help you do things and yet you are totally an independent woman, as you should be. I am so happy that you can have a guide dog to help you be who you are. I think Elton John is going to be the best thing ever. The way that he sits on you is super cute. He is emotionally, spiritually, physically attuned to you, as you said. While watching you interact before he was actually your dog was very interesting because when you were having anxiety he sat on you. He is better than a weighted blanket, because those are hard to use in public. LOL. When Elton John senses your anxiety or stress, he sits on you or invades your personal space and the change in you is immediate. The tension, concern etc just melts away from your face, and that is a beautiful gift. EJ is your dog that was obvious to me when u introduced us to him

When you talk about guide dogs and how Mira doesn’t pre match it instantly reminded me of an arranged marriage vs. dating/marrying for love. When two peoples enter an arranged marriage the pairing is done by another person who makes the decision based on different traits before they meet which sounds similar to the guide dogs school that prematch. In these arranged pairing there is the hope that relationship will evolve to love and a good partnership over time. The guide dog program at Mira reminds me of dating and then getting married after knowing more about the partner and finding the partner that is “right” for you.
