Watched it live and loved it. If you actually practice, or have engaged in similar sports then you know how intense and difficult it is to wrestle a submission grappling match. It was a serious showing of Kelly's strength, and the fact that she is on another level that Jessa Khan just wasn't ready for.

To those who comment in this vein, "If Khan gets comfortable in the cage, she'll beat Kelly": what makes you think Kelly won't make improvements likewise and just beat Khan again under ONE Championship rules. Sometimes, it is better to hook the legs into your opponent from rear-naked choke than to constrict the belly. In this fight it is better to hook Kelly's legs. Since she has smaller body and with the slippery attire, it is easy for her to spin out of Khan's rear naked choke.

Look, Danielle Kelly is SUPER nice and I’m the biggest ONE fan but we NEED to keep it real here. Danielle’s performances haven’t lived up to the hype a SINGLE time 🤷🏻‍♂️ she’s a super talented and amazing grappler but I wouldn’t ever describe her matches as “must see” ESPECIALLY compared to ONEs other products. Hey style just ISNT exciting 🤷🏻‍♂️ Something REALLY has to be done to the rule set of the grappling and we need a better explanation of how it’s judged.

Absolutely agree with this, I follow her on Instagram because I tend to follow people that have interesting stories, but I've never quite understood how scoring works in grappling. I will give her the following she has incredible physical stamina for somebody her size, her grappling is obviously the strongest suit that she brings to the combat arena, and in a sport where you are forced to grapple she has the edge because she knows grappling. As an outsider to most combat sports, I admit I don't follow them as heavily but watching her become known is Interesting. My thinking is in a combat setting. She will not excel as quickly. Grappling is about submissions and pressure, she's good at that. But under assault? I don't know she has the speed and quickness, and most certainly the flexibility but I doubt her chin has anything to it. Has she had it easy? Most certainly not. Her work out routine bears that out. But she is very much balancing social media personality with her fights. I know that's the name of the game these days, but do I think she would do well in a combat oriented style? I'm not sure. She'll dominate where she's at for now when I think that's okay, but as she steps up in competition eventually it'll be a sight to see.
