Painfully beautiful. I spent years trying to forgive the little girl before figuring out that I was holding her accountable for crimes she had not committed, so instead I apologised to her and she, she forgave me. Then, together we forgave the him. And though he cares not for our forgiveness we make him drink it down like poison, make him wear it like a heavy blanket of shame that we grew tired from carrying ourselves.

Jeanann, literally every poem I hear you perform leaves me sitting here, only able to say one word: wow. Such honesty, such power. You not only communicate a story, but the emotions. It is unbelievable. just... wow.

Absolutely incredible. I watched it twice in a row and the impact was just fantastic both times. You are a very talented woman. I would wish I had the knowledge you have if I could not hear the pain you went through to gain it. But even so...

So much vulnerability and honesty with very spoken word poetry she utters. This is kind of therapy I guess.

This really touched me. Reminded me of my own past memories and the little girl within me I forgive every day. Because all of the beliefs I made up about her were always fake. Thanks

After she finished her poem, I sat staring at my laptop screen just crying...
trying to hold in all the blame, drawing it inward, blaming yourself because you will not, you cannot blame him for what he did. She will do anything but blame him.

So...quick question...does she know how to do anything that's not brilliant?
