We were at a hotel in Savannah in July. My nephew's wife had just told me that she had stayed there before and parking was valet only. So we get there expecting valet and NOPE! Park it yourself! Shortage of staff. So we were there 3 days at $380 a night and not one day did anyone come in to make the beds or restock of coffee. They just barely had staff to clean the rooms that people had checked out of so they were clean for the new arrivals. I don't get it. Stimulus money is over and people still aren't working. Everyone is hiring. I don't get it! Hope this doesn't take too long to get Goliath ready to roll again. But with shortage on parts, you may have to wait a while. That terrible with the holidays so close. You may need to winterize Goliath too. Don't forget that! HUGS~Donna

We could have, his brother invited us and his parents just moved to a new home and they have room, we just didn't want to burden them, the parents have enough on their plate with moving and unpacking, our SIL just had surgery for a broken leg, so we decided it was best to do what we're doing.😉
