I've forgotten this gem written by Billy Joel. It is the only song that captures the delicacy, fragility and tentative-ness (if that's a word) of a jaded lover. It hits harder when it's covered by another singer. And the hesitant stuttering rhythm and lilting melody match the lyrics tl a T. Billy Joel really IS a genius-level song writer.
