5th January 2025. A grey, glum, rainy day. Christmas feels like a distant memory.
A somewhat disjointed vlog, starting on Christmas Eve. A long and rambling pile of nonsense , really, I hesitated to upload it but I wanted to share some of our Christmas with you, even if this is a rubbish all-over-the-place style vlog.

Little slices of my life, the ordinary days, but remember I show you the best bits. Nothing is sponsored or given to me, it's all bought and paid for by me and I only recommend things for that reason. I share links simply because they may be of use to someone.
It's not all about shopping and nice things though, I just prefer to show these bits instead of scooping Henry's toilet and cleaning sinks!

I love cats. She was definitely watching you! My cat is Miss Rosie, a calico and even though she is a big girl of 8, she is forever playful and sweet.

Rosie sounds lovely, Henry is the same, still playful. Lately he’s been running in circles trying to catch his tail, almost like he’s not even aware it’s attached to him. Cats!!!🐈‍⬛ ♥️ 🐈

Happy new year! Your holidays looked lovely. I had a difficult one with poor health and problems with my daughter…and generally a very difficult 2024, so personally I couldn’t wait to say goodbye to last year. I am finding I am enjoying Xmas less and less with every passing year and that makes me so sad. I realized that I am just chasing a feeling I once had. Adult children and a husband who doesn’t love Xmas…it’s all getting to me. Trying to be positive for 2025….because nothing good comes to those with bad attitudes and perspectives, am I right?!!! Thanks for the escapism:)

I'm sorry to hear that Nicole, sounds like a very difficult Christmas. I really hope things take a turn for the better this year. I love your positive attitude. It's so easy to just give up and throw in the towel, you are clearly doing your best to look on the bright side and that's the best way to be. Even if it's hard sometimes. I totally agree, as we grow older and our children are grown up, Christmas completely changes. x
