Being so anti-abortion as to be pro capital punishment for anyone who is pro abortion is almost comically insane. Like, "abortion is murder, but killing grown adults is not, because it's a good thing"? "All lives are sacred, except for the ones I want to be killed"? no but here's where it gets so f*cking saucy because here's the thing. Perhaps you, YOU, might decide, I'm okay with having a baby, i want to raise a child, I want to have this experience. Then, after all that hardship saying, I want to do it again, and that being your choice and LOVING your children and enjoying your family. The distinction, is the difference between your health and safety AS completely separate from the love of your family. Because legitimately the risk time for the development of schizophrenia in men is early 20s and in women it's early 30s. In a perfect world. A woman can do whatever she wants with her body in terms of having as many babies she wants in as little time as she wants, because it's her body and risk is separate from her and her person. Additionally, say this father has a presentation of autism that causes a sexual hyperfixation, think about that idea, because as soon as i consider the philosophy that a sexual paraphilia is not anchored at any religion or "traditionalist" idealogy. When there is a tunnel where nobody can see your family history and what your about. There's an insane gap between What kind of person you are, and where you are at. Culturalism means letting people have these choices. But again fetishization exists within traditionalism and also within hyperprogressive spaces.

Everywhere he went he jokes about having the only heir to our family. That our family is full of clams (clams as euphemism for vagina). He publicly berates and visibly hates his daughters while treating his son like a prince. As a trans-man I can vouch for this, particularly the lactation aspect which does a number on nipple sensitivity. Yes, most men don’t experience a great deal of sensitivity around their nipples but I’m fortunate to still have “Areola Hi-Sense XP” (as we call it, lol) which I’d have been in danger of losing had I maintained the high velocity procreation these “Christian” men desire so badly. And, apologies if this is too much “nipple talk” but I’ve heard derogatory comments from likely transphobes about them while at the beach and I just want to emphasize that abnormally wide areola circumference on a man’s chest might be gross to some, but trust me, my gf does NOT mind 😉

His comments back were unhinged. He doesn't let his kids go to school either. So on top of the wife decimating her bones for so many kids with zero recovery time, she ALSO is constantly watching and "teaching" them. And he has the ability to reinforce his rhetoric. It's a scary situation. He did threaten to shoot a cps investigator if they came on his property- and that does usually warrant a police and child welfare visit. So i guess there's that.
@radiansaphir9 күн бұрын
Dear God (sorry no pun intended) I was worried he was a homeschooler, though given his mentality it was probably inevitable. I also hope to God that the threat was real and recorded so there's a better chance of something being done to take those kids away from them. Wish there was a way to help the mom too, but sadly that's unlikely (especially if she's been deeply groomed/brainwashed into this mentality already)

@@ANINIMOUSE.I don't know this woman, so I can't speak for her, but I did have a highly abusive father with a mum who just passively let it happen. I can say confidently that in my situation, at least, my mum didn't feel like she had any other choice but to stay quiet and tough it out. Dad was violent, emotionally volatile, and a heavy alcoholic. It wasn't until my brother and I grew up and were able to get away that she finally felt safe enough to leave herself, and she has since taken great and sincere effort to repair her relationship with her kids, apologize for the past, and to grow and change as a person. Now, again, I don't know this woman. She could be exactly like him, or she could be suffering in silence. Until anyone has proof of the quality of her character, I think it's very unfair to assume she's as bad as he is simply because she married him. I meant that people should actually put that effort into calling CPS on guys like the one mentioned in this video who might be mistreating his children at his home, instead of calling CPS on someone who says that they don't like a famous celebrity. I hear news about people calling CPS on random people on Tiktok who had a hot take and I was just saying that people should put that effort where it needs. Telling your wife shes a dishwasher in early labor?? Thats so fucking disrespectful. Shes your partner, not your slave. Even in traditional partnerships, marriages, and families, the wife is not a slave and is not (generally) treated as such. The fact that he thinks its okay to think tis while your wife is actively laboring, neverkind saying it, is actually so insane. It further shows how he doesnt respect girls and women, and his wife is no exception. While his wife spent 3.75 years just being pregnant with his children, not includong the time breastfeeding and recovering from her births, he's insulting her importance, her role in the family and their relatikship, and her existence as a person. I know women can have traditional (fundamentalist) beliefs like these as well and fully believe them (until some learn that theres options and dont have to live a lifetime of servitude and disrespect), but theres no way shes not constantly hurting bt the fact that her partner doesnt respect nor love her. Not even in the way a partner should be respected either (more appreciation and respect considering theyre your partner) but like bare minimum respect.

And I find it real interesting that he's always speaking on her behalf in terms of her reactions to his "jokes" and apparent 100% agreement on his garbage treatment of her and her own daughters. _If_ he's telling the truth, then I think his wife's reaction of calling him a slur after witnessing him yelling out in pain (knowing his high pain tolerance) is very, very telling. These are miserable creatures who are out here passing on their misery onto their offspring as some sort of twisted justification to their own deeply unfulfilling lives. Everything about people like these, especially those who have children, just makes me believe there is no God, or if their God is real then They are pure evil.

You asked how there's no recourse for these kids to get to safety, and I've asked myself the same thing hundreds of times over the years. I don't have or want kids, but if my partner called me a "dishwasher" while I was in labor, I would kick him out of the delivery room and tell him to pack his shit up and get out of my house. Fuck that noise. My dad was a joker in the delivery room with my mom when she was in labor with me. They had gone to lamaze class together and he was supposed to be counting for her. He thought it would be hilarious to count in German and my mom got annoyed because she was laughing and was having a hard time focusing like she was supposed to. She still talks very fondly about this, especially since my dad passed away 24 years ago. People forget that a safe delivery for both the person going through labor and the child are not a guarantee. People still die during labor, babies still die during delivery- especially with all the current problems in American healthcare for women nowadays. Wouldn't it have been horrible if that was the last thing he said to her and then she had an emergency during her labor?

for those who don’t have kids/aren’t around kids: a baby normally doesn’t even understand “no” until about 10 months. that doesn’t mean they can understand what they’re doing is wrong! that comes about when they’re toddlers! all they know is that “no” means you don’t want them to do it! corporal punishment at an age where they don’t even understand *why* you’re mad at them, only that they’re doing something wrong - actually insane. i also want to note that children that young don’t have the capacity to think that you’re capable of being wrong or doing wrong to them. if you get mad at them, if you punish them in any way, all they know to think is that they are bad and doing something wrong. if you tell them that they’re bad and doing bad things enough, they will believe it eventually. that negative self-talk and the self-confidence issues that are so prevalent nowadays have a lot to do with the way you were treated from 0-5. imagine how terrible the self-esteem would be of a child who thinks they’re a bad kid since before they were able to comprehend the word “no”. hurts my heart fr.

my dad smacked me from the ages of about 2-7 and also tended to get very very angry with me for doing stupid kid shit that a kid would do. sometimes i'd never see any consequences and he'd never address it with me, and then he'd get annoyed with me and lecture me over something completely different, as if this was a grave sin like kicking a dog and not just "colouring in a number on my wallpaper with crayon". i know he was raised very similarly, but it's done a number on my self esteem. even now he critiques my behaviour as if everything i do is as a result of multiple personal flaws inherent in me that he doesn't have, and that this automatically makes me a worse person it's taken me a long time to not constantly feel a sense of intense shame and self hatred, and even then it hasnt left me completely. i worry because you always hear people say "no-one will love you unless you love yourself", and it's hard not to feel like, in that case, no-one will ever really love me another edit: oh! also, the way he used to smack me was basically him re-enacting the corporal punishment he got in school. my mum was either so under his thumb or so caught up in the "ritual" (all bystanders are not to say anything, they just have to sit there and watch) that she would never say anything, so after he'd smack me i would turn to her for some kind of reassurance and she'd just stare at me sadly, and then i would try not to cry and run out of the room :)))) and then my parents wonder why i inherited my mum's family's mental health problems :)))) which they also denied for several years bc apparently my mums the depressed one and im just a silly teenager who doesnt know what depression is :)))))

Check out the Calvinist concept of “total depravity,” which posits that humans are inherently sinful from the moment of birth. Fundamentalists who take this concept seriously talk about the selfishness and greed of babies who cry because they need food, love, attention etc. as a sign of “fallen man” who puts his own needs or desires before the will of God. They try to crush that “wickedness” out of even tiny babies with so-called discipline (such as ignoring their cries and withholding other forms of comfort, even before they are old enough to face other forms of corporal punishment) and caution young mothers to harden their hearts against the supposedly manipulative tendencies of their helpless infants and overwhelmed toddlers. It’s all incredibly disturbing and deeply psychologically damaging, even before the children are old enough to consciously grasp the idea that they are wicked and sinful and deserving of death and eternal punishment, simply because *checks notes* they are human.

I’m so glad somebody’s talking about Bug Hall. I recently Googled him as an old Buzzfeed article about a Little Rascals reunion popped up on my Facebook memories, and I remember thinking he looked kinda hot 12 years ago and wondered what he looked like now. I was horrified when I found his social media, and also surprised that more people weren’t talking about it. Another 90s celebrity who’s gone down a similar path is Brian Littrell from The Backstreet Boys. He’s a vocal Trump supporter, and he fell out with his band mates because they refused to perform at Trump’s inauguration in 2016. He’s since gone down the Q-Anon rabbit hole, and he and his wife post a lot of unhinged conspiracy theories. His cousin and fellow Backstreet Boy Kevin started Tweeting articles about people who’ve lost loved ones to QAnon, as well as sharing posts debunking right wing conspiracy theories. AJ McClean also fell out with Brian over his bigoted views. AJ won Celebrity Drag Race and donated his winnings to a trans crisis helpline. He also cast two trans women in his music video, officiated the wedding of his gay best friends, dressed in drag at his own wedding, and supported his 9 year old daughter wanting to cut her hair and change her name to a more gender neutral one (she still identifies as a girl, she just wanted to cut her hair and change her name to one she preferred and he supported that). I think it would be interesting if you did a deep dive on Brian (actually, a video on The Backstreet Boys as a whole would be interesting as Nick Carter has been accused of a lot of terrible things).

Every part of this is concerning as both a mother AND grandmother. We have 3 daughters (yes, one is a transwoman), and then we have 5 granddaughters. My husband was just delighted that all our children and grandchildren were healthy, and so was I! He celebrated each birth as if it were the most fantastic gift the world had ever given him and continues to celebrate as the grandchildren make their entrance. He said the other day that it might be lovely for a grandson to change things up a bit, but again, all he cares about is our daughter's and the child's health at the end of the day. If he had joked about a broken dishwasher during my labor, I probably would have gotten out of bed and decked him. I'm not a violent woman, but that very likely would have happened. Men like Bug there are why we have women dying from lack of access to essential healthcare, and yes - for the record, abortion counts as crucial healthcare. I, unfortunately, had to abort a wanted child between our first and second daughter. I am not going to divulge the specifics, but that pregnancy would not have resulted in a living child and would likely have also ended my life. It was devastating! I am still here, though, and I was able to have two more children after that.

Unfortunately, CPS is not reliable. There would have to be some pretty hard, visible evidence of abuse, and if they seem happy and healthy enough, they won't be able to do anything about it. Of course, it doesn't hurt to try. But that system sadly does not strive for the nuance of a thorough investigation in terms of protecting children. - Speaking as someone who was severely neglected as a child and CPS visited my home quite frequently. But nothing was done.

WHO ARE THE WOMEN WHO HAVE KIDS WITH THESE BUG TYPES?! I never imagined Alfalfa would grow up to trigger the fight in my fight or flight response.

Women who were groomed by other Bug types from birth. I hope his kids are able to deprogram from that before they get married.

Women raised in housebolds where they've been told their whole lives that their only worth is to serve a man, i.e.: deeply religious families. These women have rarely ever been given any choice about their identity or lives, so they think this sort of person is just normal (thogh most on the inside will still in truth dislike or but maybe can't put a finger on why or how to change it). They're usually financially dependent on their husbands and with all of their friends and family equally being part of this group and would oppose them leaving, it's hard to get out.

my dad loved calling me and my mother dishwashers and told me almost daily I belong in a kitchen and it still messes me up to this day I really hope those girls have some type of support outside the home
@hnichole5 күн бұрын
Mine would do the same and joke that he had 3 dishwashers (my mother, my sister, and me). He's also made comments to me about a future husband and children, both of which I've said I don't want because he and my mother gave me attachment and trust issues lmao. Some people aren't meant to be parents, I really hope the best for those 4 girls. I hope whatever they do once they've grown up pisses Bug off every day of his life.

11:40 well, I gave birth 6 months ago. Let me tell you, the "heir" shares his mother's last name. His father would be sent back to his mother's to be retaught respect if he had the audacity. Also gd, i feel bad for Bug's children. Im over here studying 3 different baby books, concerned about my child and this man is out here just indoctrinating his children into backasswards beliefs

As a birthing person who has been through some horrible labors and even a stillbirth, I find dark humor very wonderful in those moments of stress. If my husband, while I am loopy as hell on Epidural, told me the dishwasher was broken, I'd cackle like a hyena and remind him that the dishwasher was broken our whole relationship. But that's our relationship. We are also wildly liberal. We just know how to take care of each other in our humor. But nah Bugs is gross lol

Makes me sad that even my own dad says shit like “when you have a baby with your husband that’s your husband’s baby, not yours” in the conversation of “why do you need a son? Why can’t me passing down my own genes be enough?”. He also says that having a baby is the most important thing i could do in my life bc so many people are not having kids. Then he got mad that I interpreted all this to mean I’m an incubator.
