This is not how a combined arms should be on a multi-domain operations especially now that drones are effective against armor. Additional notes: seems like russia does not have much of a professional infantry squads that can accompany armor and even if there is infantry that accompanied the armor, it's mostly few hence it's not working out for them.

@jameson32 APS (active protection system) will be the way to go. I think we have some of those on newer versions of the Abrams, and I'm pretty it was initially developed by Israel for the Merkava. I'm not sure if Russia has been able to engineer anything like that. They are designed to destroy missiles before they hit the tank. I'd assume taking out drones would be no problem for them.

This is how combined arms work in modern era. Russia seems like they are still using the soviet doctrine where they do a huge push of armor without those supports I mentioned and this is it's result. As for the lone tanks, I myself don't understand the reason of sending one tank to the frontline...they ain't invincible like I said and conscription won't replenish your experienced tank crews.

The distance between the turret and the tank body is very thin! The drone chose that exact spot with its armor-piercing bullets! Normally, at such a distance, other tanks would have a hard time hitting the spot the drone was aiming at! The explosive force of a few dozen bullets inside the turret blew it up because Russia doesn't use a bullet protection mechanism like European vehicles! Russia uses an automatic loading mechanism so the bullet protection ability is zero.

They definitely nailed the method. But it's a harbinger for sure. Give it 10 years and war will be unrecognizable. A battle purely of economies where the side that makes the most drones and autonomic weapons wins. Then again maybe that's a good thing if human beings become obsolete on the battlefield.

You're talking about humans, humans who most likely dont want to be there, war isnt good, its fine to celebrate a win and advancements, but once the enemy cannot fight back, you render aid and dont speak ill of them. I note that this is dependent on the situation, fighting a terrorist group is different. Russia is drafting its soldiers by force nowadays, their is no choice in the fight.

O tom pochybuji. USA překročili červené hranice. Nikdo si neponechá případného nepřítele postavit základnu u jeho hranic. Poučení je zde! Prostudujte podrobně "Karibskou krizi". USA umístli jaderné rakety k Ruským hranicím, a to do Turecka. Rusové na oplátku zase na Kubu! Prostudujte co bylo potom. A buďte rád, že se to podařilo vyřešit. Jinak by jste tu již nebyl! Nazdar!
