The way Ren purposely loses air on the word “music” in the last line is hilarious and so wonderfully counter to convention. Most singers would never want to be heard doing that, but Ren is so uninhibited and absent vanity that he can have fun with it. He gives no F, but not in an arrogant way- he’ll do anything for the art. No ego.

"Life is Funny" is def worth a listen, many flow changes and cadences. "Blind eyed" is great, there's 4 versions but the MC sessions live is the best. "Ready for you" as many have suggested is in everyone's top 5 and "Humble" is pure vibes. Any of those are all amazing. If u want vintage teenager Ren, then "Trick the fox (Runaway)" is an interesting insight into before he got really sick.

Loved the reaction ❤️. Ren was 19 or 20 when he did part 1, right around when he first got sick at 19. He got his stem cell transplant at 27 after finally getting the correct diagnosis. He released this album in 2016, recorded from his bedroom (like he says in his song Troubles) along with a few older tracks from) when he was signed with Sony at around 20 yrs old. 😊

As far as the Ren timeline on his health, this was a little while after his stem cell surgery when he was really getting back into music and starting to fire on all cylinders again, but before he went to Canada for his neurological treatment. It wasn't long after he met Gorran, Romain and Glenn and formed the Big Push. You're correct this was during covid, in fact Ren, Gorran and Romain rented an apartment together so they wouldn't have to test every time they wanted to practice or record. The rooftop you see in "Murderer" and "Bongo Bong" videos is the rooftop of the apartment they were renting. As always guys, top notch reaction!!! ✌💚

First of your reactions I've seen, but if you're going for through the archives, have you done Fire or 1990s from the Freckled Angels album? Also, Ready for You, Ahiahiahohah ft Bibi are both awesome and lastly, but not leastly, Crucify Your Culture. Or if you haven't done any, The Big Push have some amazing performances from when Ren was out Busking as part of that group.
