Thank you and1. You made me love basketball and appreciate talent when ever some one displays em. Thank you for showing me also the reality of basketball hoopers that also go through the same things we go through. Possible drug selling areas, single mother/father, and having to be raised tough. I have nothing but the upmost respect for their craft all beginning and1 and final and1 players. I hope one day on youtube they return this type of basketball in 2020 with new personalities and no AAU type of basketball. I want personalities just like these that make the show relatable and sometimes funny. thank you and1

I remember when this first aired I was living in Atlanta Georgia at 16 and was continuing to fall even more in love with the game and everything about it.. I was obsessed with memorizing all their moves and being an all around great player. They came out at the perfect time for me.. I pulled out the VHS and taped every episode from begining to end.. and then once I found out I ran out to get a pair of their sneakers and when I did it was the ones they are wearing in this video :At 16:47 in you can see the player wearing number #11 on his jersey wearing them.. ( The Black and White high tops with the black stripes that come to a point by the lace loops) except mine were the Black on Black colorway and they were fire kicks!! But I cant remember the name of them to save my life is there anyone in the comments who may be able to help me out with the name of them?

AO speaks nothing but straight facts when he mentioned that it doesn't matter where he is, whether it be in his own home town, or playing away, you gotta show up and prove to some people that you have, not only heart, but intensity and fire, and mainly the dog in you to fight back and just destroy everyone. I respect all hard workers of basketball but this type of basketball with personalities off camera and names like AO, Silk, hot sauce, baby shaq, helicopter, all these players showed before the cameras. and then you have the much older and beginning of and players main event, future, shane, skip, half man half amazing. You can also briefly see that All-day is talking to them during the huddle with frustration, but know damn well they can turn it up. YOU DON'T SEE THAT ANYMORE! SHOUT OUT to the hood ballers who still work on their craft like silk or hot sauce. lets rough up basketball a bit my peeps :)

if they didnt buy out AND1, and purposely break it.. AND1 Basketball would have become bigger than NBA and current $30 AND1 basketball sneakers would be worth $300 while jordans would get sold for $30-$50. Now that I'm older I can see this so clear.

the streetball and the and1 brand outside US between 2002 to 2005 made huge influences into a different view of basketball, more free than NBA, was the time of Iverson and the attitude, after the Jordan retire the league went downhill in interest, the threepeat of Kobe and Shaq, Vince Carter and a few players. NBA is an industry, all we know it but the streetball during those summers got great atention. far places like Chile, Philipines, UK, Brazil, Venezuela, Japan, Italy and others had an national and1 team and made tricks and dunks same like US. in my country Chile the arrival of and1 brand improved much skills in local players with US pro training programs and of course the clothes for games, and the local mixtape tour built the way to street players that became into national pro hoopers. The current national league is a direct result of the things that made and1 with players, community and game.
