Im 39 years old . I grew up throughout my high school years watching Jason Williams. I lived on the east coast and TNT had the Sacramento Kings on all the time . I’ll never forget watching him for the first time . I played point guard in high school but i was a scorer . I would shoot 25-30 shot a game . I was averaging 25 points . After my sophomore season entering my junior year something clicked inside me after watching a game when Jason had 13 assist . That entire summer i would take a basketball and not shoot 1 shot . I never went to a basketball court all summer . We had a county court house and it has about 50 steps . For 5-6 hrs a day all i did was up and down non stop . Rain or shine dribbling . By the time the summer was over my ball control and dribbling was totally next level . I couldn’t wait for basketball season to start . Our very first practice i brought the ball up left handed (i was a always right hand dominate dribbler ) crossed over and instead of pulling up i threw a laser down to my forward . After about 5 trips up the court and 5 assist with no shots coach pulled me aside and said to me when did become a complete player . I went on to have a school record 23 assist in 1 game breaking the previous record of 12 . I owe a lot of my playing achievements to seeing Jason Williams . He put a passion in me to get better overall me not be just one dimensional.

I can verify from personal experience that Speedy Claxton was almost impossible to stay with defensively. My AAU team played in a league at I.S. 8 in Jamaica Queens. Claxton was on a team named the Long Island Panthers. He was the PG and his wing players were Zack Marbury and Lamar Odom. My coach used to make me pick up Claxton full court and, not bragging but, I've played against alot of big names and NOBODY was as fast as Craig Claxton.

The infamous Marbury family. Zack should have been in the league.

Anyone under 6 feet who played in the NBA let alone multiple seasons not just a few stints deserves mad respect.
He was absolutely unstoppable for Jay Wight at Hofstra (and that’s why Jay got hired at Nova). No idea why Speedy went to Hofstra but that’s neither here nor there.

There is a handful of players that I realized how much I loved them once they retired. Williams was one of those guys. Suns fan here and I loved Nash the same way.

I'm a Lakers fan, but White Chocolate was a sick passer when he played for Sacramento, and I was happy for him when he won a Ring with Miami. Thanks, Professor, for posting this.

One of the best episodes, and I am not even surprised. Both of you are just so cool, both have that flair. Seeing young Professor from AND1 movies had my heart jump a little, I remembered being young seeing it for the first time and ran outside trying all the moves and stuff 😂 Absolutely loved the episode! Cheering from Serbia, he knows, he gets a lot of love from his Serbian brothers. Cheers

The thing that strikes me as so similar between J Dub and the Professor, is the humility meets the flash. Both have tremendous vision and ball control, making them exciting to watch, but in the end, both are really just ALL about the W. You can't earn no more respect than that. That's why they both Legends.

This video made me being with a really big smile the whole 16 minutes. J-Will my favorite player ever, The Professor a part of those AND1 Mixtapes that I bought through importation (I'm from Spain) when I was a teen, watching them over and over again, studying every move. You are two of the main reasons why I love this game. Thanks for all 🏀❤

Not only the professor's hands, but also his human relations are very successful. He really knows how to approach whom, how to act and how to talk. I also watched the professor's many outdoor one-on-one challenges. His approach to young people is very cool. Congratulations.

Yo...Growing up watching JWill...this guy is so Humble. You can see the communication getting *hyped as they talked about **handles. Kindred spirits talking about what they love. They appreciate the work, and the Art of it. You can literally see the passion and hear it in their voices. The elbow passing lesson was frosting on the cake! Jwill easily top 5 all time on handles in the NBA. Great video. 2 legends speaking Art

Absolutely loved watching Jason on the court from high school through his career in the NBA. Would have loved to seen him stay at Marshall but he made the right choice to go to Florida. Such a talented guy! 1 of WV's best!

I went to Marshall's basketball camp when Jason was at Marshall. Never would I ever have thought he would turn into what he did. I was also at Rupp Arena when he was at Florida and scored 24 in a win over Kentucky back in 98.

White Chocolate is hands down one of my all-time favorites to have graced those NBA floors. Still remembering that joy and excitement he brought to the game during his days in Sacramento. I still hate that he was traded away from that squad to this day. I was so mad, haha. Regardless, the stuff he was doing on that floor was unreal and unlike anything we had ever seen during that era. He even inspired parts of my game as I’ve mostly been a pass first type of player. That aspect of the game became the most fun for me through him. So, without a doubt, nothing but the utmost respect for J-Will. He was simply that dude when it was time to put on a show and deserves every bit of gratitude for what he brought to the game
