Excellent programme. Very good demonstration by Nagaswara vidwan Andankoil Selvarathinam Pillai. Well accompanied by Thavil vidwan TA Kaliamurthy. Vidushi R.Vedavally did an excellent job by seeking clarifications from the vidwan. Critic Subbudu once said that music was alive because the Nagaswara tradition. The govt and public should patronage the Nagaswara vidwans so that the art tradition flourishes thereby helping the cause of Carnatic music.
