Very nice video! Did you shoot all the movie in RedRaw HQ? I personally own a Komodo and shoot always MQ. Curious to hear what you say. Big difference to HQ? And you shot indoor scene at iso 250. because it’s so moody and you wanted clean shadows? What iso did you use for outdoor/day? I’m rating mostly the Komodo at iso 500 for daytime and 250 for lowlight/night Thanks and greetings! :)
@ANDBERY
@ANDBERY Жыл бұрын
Hey mate! As far as I know, Red Raw on KOMODO doesn't have native ISO. You can use any numbers, this is clean RAW like a RAW photo sequence. Yes, I used RAW HQ, just because I love to make a color grade and prefer flexible source materials. BTW you will waste more storage space for RAW HQ, really a LOT of space. Anyway, have you tried doing tests?
@TERRAMOUNT
@TERRAMOUNT Жыл бұрын
@@ANDBERY thanks for the fast reply. Yeah. Redraw is pretty unique. When you don’t blow up highlights at iso 250 you won’t blowup even at iso 3200 for example. For me personally I find iso 800 a bit noisy. What did you use for your outdoor golden hour shots? :) Thats why I Shoot mostly in MQ hehe
@ANDBERY
@ANDBERY Жыл бұрын
@@TERRAMOUNT Honestly, I don't remember the ISO numbers while shooting of golden hour. But it was still Raw. Also, I used a polarized filter for gradient on the sky.

Yeah if you are filming in Los Angeles everyone knows that there is money in it, so you can expect someone to run their lawn mower until you come over and pay them to stop. :) But if you film in other parts of the country, locations can be really cheap if you ask nicely. Renting equipment is still expensive though… even if you get a sweet deal from the rental house you will still need insurance.
