Roomba I think is better due to the fact that AA equation said that plane reacive distribute damage. So higher damage times AA stats plus the coefficientcy makes her deal enormous dmg. And u can use RPM AA on other EU ships to have RoF since AA is combined effort of a team.

Just smth to note regarding the russian twin 130 vs. the french single 138. In terms of raw DPS the twin 130 absolutely blows the 138 out of the water. That usually doesn't have to mean that the twin 130 is better, due to ammo modifiers. The purple twin 120 for example also beats the gold single 138 in raw DPS, but due to being normal ammo, the 138 has higher DPS once you take ammo modifiers into the equation against all armor types. The twin 130 is a different story from the twin 120 for two reasons: 1. The raw DPS is insane. About 33% higher than the single 138. 2. It doesn't use regular "Normal" ammo, it uses "Normal*" ammo. Which is 5% better against medium and heavy targets than regular "Normal". Between these two factors (though N.1 is by far and away the more important one), the twin 130, despite having worse damage modifers than the HE on the 138, ends up beating it in DPS by a sizable amount against both light and medium armor targets. Against heavy armor, the still absolutely terrible modifier on the "Normal*" ammo (25%) means that the single 138 ends up beating it by a massive margin. So to conclude, against light and medium enemies, the twin 130 is better. Against heavy enemies, the single 138 is better. Heavy enemies become more common in later stages and in event maps, so for those scenarios the 138 may be preferable, but for maximized clear times on lower level grind maps, the twin 130 is better.

May I ask 2 questions...I saw at Warspite that you have equiped the Triple 406mm MK6 Main Gun (if I am not mistaken), currently I have on her the 410mm Mounted Gun, is it better with 406 than the 410? and why is that?. And second I curently have only one gold 138.6mm equiped on my Nimi retrofit and two purple ones shall I equip the gold one to Sandy, she is equiped with a gold Twin 127mm MK12 Dual Gun. Well Warkai is better with 406mm coz it has the highest DPS bb gun, tho it has a lower fire rate than 410. 410 is used on ships that has brg proc chance when they fire their main guns like hood or monarch coz it has a faster fire rate. Second, personally I'd want Sandy to hav the gun since her retro is literally here and give 127 to Nimi. Tho it depends on you, you can just grind a new one for either of them in oratorio event.

Umm... i dont really like doing this, but can i put some critic here? -main gun: mostly fine, but twin130mm is better than single 138.6 in most situation, which is against light and medium. There is not that much heavy armored enemy in this game after all (nagato, mutsu, taihou, command ship... and i think thats all). Normal ammo is not that much disadvantage to HE when the modifier is mostly the same against like and medium after all (HE has 120/60/60 while normal* has 100/55/25) and twin 130 have quite a lot of more base dps to single 138.6. The only time i would use single 138.6 over twin 130 on sandy is when im using her against taihou, or when im using tashkent somewhere else. -torpedo:agree, anything is fine, her torp dmg is pathetic -AA gun: now to controversial topic. using ijn bofors, let alone trashcan on sandy is heresy. here is a simple "how AA in AL work" Anti Air in Azur Lane and its stupid implementation Unlike main gun where each ship shoot their own main gun at separate instance, all, and i mean ALL AA gun in the fleet shoot at the same time, from the same point, with same range. This is called a "wave", and yes this include the main fleet too, main fleet aa gun shoot from vanguard, as stupid as that sound. So how does the game decide its reload and range? they average it. when you see 0,56s on ijn bofors, that doesnt mean sandy will shoot aa gun every 0,56s, it just mean sandy will contribute 0,56s on whole fleet aa reload average. Which also mean sandy will only do 87*(sandy stat modifier) dmg every wave instead of 130*(sandy stat modifier) every wave, which is a lot of aa dmg loss. They also average the range from all aa gun in the fleet, and this include aa gun base too. The only thing that is not averaged is dmg, which is totaled instead. Oh and there is also 0,5s of absolute cooldown between wave. here is an example of an aa calculation: 1:2 fleet of akashi/sandykai/ayanami akashi(3 hpaar, 2 quad bofors, +390 aa stat): 4 aa gun base, each 100% eff. aa stat total=160+390=550, rld=181 aa dmg/wave=4*(100%)*(1+550/100)*(120)=3120, aa gun reload=sqrt(200/(100+181))*1.04=0,88s sandykai(no hpaar, roomba, +45 aa stat): 1 aa gun base, 185% eff. aa stat total=1,25*(559+45)=755, rld=210 aa dmg/wave=(185%)*(1+755/100)*(130)=2056, aa gun reload=sqrt(200/(100+210))*1.36=1,09s ayanami(no hpaar, ijn bofors, +45 stat): 1 aa gun base, 75% eff. aa stat total=146+45=191, rld=228 aa dmg/wave=(75%)*(1+191/100)*(87)=190, aa gun reload=sqrt(200/(100+228))*0,71=0,55s so total aa dmg/wave=3120+2056+190=5366 aa dmg, with each wave come every=(4*0,88+1,09+0,55)/6 + 0,5=1,36s total fleet aa dps then can be written as 5366/1,36=3945,6 aa dps now what will happen if we use ijn bofors on sandy instead sandykai(no hpaar, ijn bofors, +45 aa stat): 1 aa gun base, 185% eff. aa stat total=1,25*(559+45)=755, rld=210 aa dmg/wave=(185%)*(1+755/100)*(87)=1376, aa gun reload=sqrt(200/(100+210))*0,71=0,57s total aa dmg/wave=3120+1376+190=4686, with each wave come every=(4*0,88+0,57+0,55)/6 + 0,5=1,27s total aa dps then can be written as 4686/1,27= 3689 aa dps. first setup have range of (4*28+35+29)/6=29,3 while second setup have range of (4*28+29+29)/6=28,3 as you can see, using ijn bofors on sandy actually LOWER both fleet aa dps and range. its because aa dmg sandy sacrifice doesn't outweight ijn bofors fast reload contribution on wave reload calculation. Meanwhile the opposite would be true on ayanami, using roomba on her will lower the aa dps, because the aa dmg increase wont outweight roomba slow reload contribution, though in her case the range will increase. So how am i supposed to set up my AA? best aa set up is different for different fleet, but since doing calculation is sometimes too complicated, there is a simple template that can be used to always get "good" aa dps: aa carry (sandy, isuzu, etc): roomba if auto (good dmg and range, slow reload), pom pom if manual (good dmg and reload, low range) bad aa (most ijn dd, cvl, etc): ijn bofors, trash can (low dmg and decent range, but high reload) everyone else: quad bofors (balanced) You can use twin 100mm as roomba filler, and twin 105mm as quad bofors filler. And ofcourse, bb get staag for hit stat. using ijn bofors on sandy instead of roomba/pompom however, will most of the time lower the fleet aa dps. aux: mostly fine. i would say toolbox+rudder would be her default, and use hpaar only if she survive fine. and thats all, im sorry that this have become quite a long read. oh also, ijn bofors is twin 40mm type 98, or you can called it stop sign.

If you're still wondering, the notification is for your dorm. It's to let you know that you're out of ammo/supplies/food, so the ships you have in your dorm are no longer receiving exp from training.

Hi Jordan, perhaps I may be able to answer, but do not take my opinion as the correct one since I didn't actually finish W13. I am an experienced player, but I am really lazy when it comes to finishing the campaign. So basically, W13 has tough planes and command ships that, IIRC, launch more planes, so preferably Sandy would be in a mob fleet since you need to ensure that your mob fleet's backline does not get killed by the "kamikaze" damage inflicted by enemy planes. As for the boss fleet, you can do the retardad option which would be full torp IJN + Ironblood subs with buffs against CVs or any of the several workable combinations possible. There are several tutoriais on YT regarding fleet composition.

15:47 There are some things to keep in mind about AL performance in general: 1. It's poorly optimized, it even sometimes lags on my phone which is relatively new (OnePlus 6T) 2. On PC the best performance emulator by far is MEmu in DirectX mode, because that one uses Microsofts Hyper-V technology and does some compromising on picture quality in exchange for performance I know you're sponsored by BlueStacks, but I've tested every emulator out there by now and the only ones worth using are MEmu and Nox (I think Nox uses Hyper-V too, but it's slower on my system and DirectX mode is buggy there). Even Google's own Android Studio emulator is straight garbage because it uses like 50 % CPU and GPU while putting out maybe 5 fps.
