English is not his first language. He is Chinese educated. Don’t think he is an introvert if you see him sings, rap and play guitar in his Instagram and in local media like radio station and tv interviews. He had tons of interviews locally and he was so much sporting, fun and funny.
@puffpride59673 жыл бұрын
@@tung8833 Lol I know I am Malaysian myself. Being an introvert doesn’t mean that he can’t be funny and such because he’s funny in this video too. I think he is more comfortable with local media because he knows them personally (especially with the peeps from astro arena and the people he goes on IG Live with). Fans have picked up that he’s an introvert because he prefers spending time in his room watching NBA or playing FIFA instead of joining the rest of his team messing around and making tiktoks. We rarely see him on people’s IG stories too. There’s nothing wrong with that, I’m an introvert myself and can totally relate :) I just think it’s interesting to see how Ginting, who doesn’t speak English very well but gave long answers VS Zii Jia who speaks English quite well but does not elaborate his answers unless prompted especially at the beginning of the podcast. But I can see that he has come out of his shell towards the end

He is definitely enjoying this podcast, but by looking at his gestures, you can tell that he is uncomfortable. The whole time he was sitting on the edge of his seat lol which is a sign of a LZJ not being close to HK and AA, and he constantly gaving short answers. But, he is willing to come out of his shell for joining this podcast, which is good for him.

honestly, after lee chong wei era i barely know the next apprentices. but after years, lee zii jia and the other players starting to get more recognition and i think it's a good thing for them but not the comparison part. started to watch most of his tournaments and i understand he has his own style and comparing him wont make anyone better. but thats the culture of Malaysia anyway. i was not really into sports but hope little supports from us could be helpful for them regardless victory or losses. plus i admire the sportmanship between the players and others. and these players, they bring Malaysia to the eyes of the world and that's enough for us to proud for. hope zii jia will have speedy recovery! you will have a great journey of your own! thanks antonsen for this interview. Great content and hope you're doing great too.

This is so true! I never knew I like badminton until i see the squad now (it’s easier to watch it now too with the internet and everything) and they’re really good!! @@farry6779 agree!!!! Can say that even as for me lives in rural area, i can see most people here enjoy playing badminton more during the free time especially before maghrib and even on the night. So badminton is pretty famous sport. Yes with the internet, it makes it easier for us to get exposure on that. Also we have our athletes now taking opportunity to do vlog and sharing their experiences with us. Some cam be very inspiring and exciting! Hope they get the recognition they deserve and gets stronger. All the best for all athletes. Our supports are always with them😆

I can already feel how bad those harsh comments already even from the sharings from both Ziijia and Antonsen, and they don't even know how tough and tired it is to compete in such big tournaments while just typing all the harsh comments towards players when losing.
