Just a suggestion that when you speak to someone who is not used to speaking English (fluently) that helping him or her to be more comfortable (especially on camera) is very important. Shoutout to HK I think him just being very calm and stepping in to fill in the words when Ginting blanked out helped him to speak his mind. I think this will encourage players who couldn't speak it well to join the podcast more in the future, which is gonna make the show so much more interesting!

Agreed. While Hans Kristian appears to be aggressive and passionate on-court, off-court in this podcast I sense he is actually a mindful, considerate and knowledgeable co-host, able to guide and support the course of the interviews. A perfect partner to Anders. They would be suitable successors to Gillian Clark and Morten when they retires

I thought Ginting was shy and serious guy but he's so chill and friendly. Love to see there's no boundaries with new generation of badminton players right now cause back then foreign players rarely hang out, blend together or even talk freely like this, not only due to language barrier but also strict management, this remind me of tennis or football and it's so refreshing.

For me the important thing about learning another language is not doing a perfect grammar but to be able to transfer what’s on the mind and say what we feel. I think Hans and AA did a great job for this podcast. You guys successfully made Anthony talking a lot and smiling and even laughing for more than 40 minutes 😂😭 (other than the interviews after match) this guy usually answer a question in two words, or only with smile for a second. So, no wonder if he always said "NO" for podcast, before. And this is sooooo entertaining, for sure !! 🔥 Fyi, I have watched this podcast (maybe) in fifth times and still in love with how this conversation happened 🥺 the topics, the jokes from AA, and the times when Hans help Anthony complete his words. Just perfect. Respect ! Love you three ❤️🇮🇩🇩🇰 Can't wait for the next episode ! Always wondered how Denmark is the only country that can compete with Asia, of course there are other players from Europe who are good but as a whole, Danish badminton for such a small country to shine is quite impressive and a testament to their program and coaching.

Sometimes I wonder, if badminton will ever be popular in the US. Americans like fast games, with scores increasing rapidly. If only more of americans get to watch the minions and other mens doubles I think they will like this fast and beautiful game. I read somewhere that mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates are big fans. Maybe we need American players to do well to gather more popularity

@@atj4980 there is one(among top players, ranked top15 at present days) who represents the US, a female player beiwen zhang, who grew up in china and moved to states later. But i read somewhere that she mostly trains in europe as she found it hard to have quality trainees to keep her levels up. Also as other guys here said already, due to some reasons this is never a popular sports in their nation and can hardly get as popular as those most popular sports like baseball, their "american football" or hockey which also is popular in canada. from my experiences living here in NY as an international student, I sometimes did catch some students carrying badminton rackets and there even is a badminton club in my college. however, most kids on my campus who play this sport for a hobby or maybe somewhat more competitive level are from immigrant families or other international students(as you can guess, most of them asians).

Love how it gets personal. The topics regarding the challenges of tight competitions and also the rules that you guys want to change. More questions that might be of interest would be like how players feel before matches, what motivates them, what do they do when they feel nervous, how they feel with defeats. Point being to get them to reveal a more vulnerable side of themselves. We see you guys smashing on the court, but dont really know the players on a personal level so that might be cool to talk about.
