Thank you so much for having the story on beavers, after Anderson Cooper talking about how Mr. Astor totally drove the population almost into extinction to make his greedy fortune! And thank you to the author of this book about beavers and the good that they can do to help out the climate catastrophe. Yes, and humans can do a lot better to help themselves out and our beautiful planet.

Beavers? More like, indigenous presence caretaking the forests as natives always were tending to their creation actually.

I'm not sure I understand your comment....I'm just trying to include the victims of these wealthy, white people which are animals and the indigenous people. Really, A. Cooper's book is another book amongst thousands of books that are about rich people, because people love to read about those stories, and most people won't even think at all, about the beavers or the native Americans, and how brutal this was for them, and their decimated populations. The most impressive thing I heard from Anderson Cooper was that he worked as a waiter like many other high school kids did (well, maybe not nowadays), and that he was living more real than probably a lot of other people around him. I'm not interested in any of those rich people at all, just interested in the big incidentals that his book brings out which are the beavers and the Native American plight. And everyone should be reading the L. Phillip book about beavers and how they can help us in global warming, and how every animal on this planet is needed to preserve our planet. Humans need to revere more, and see how every animal on this planet is a miracle, and without them, we are gone too. @@aghost1410

Disturbing the web of life, as America has, desperately needs to be reversed. It is never too late to make individual attempts, which lead to community recognition. Hopefully raising awareness, thus bringing changes, which can get us back onto the right path. Each of us can only do what we can do, but when crowds of citizens really care, when things change.

For those who don't know, Anderson Cooper's book was a deemed a copycat. Here's a bit from Meryl Gordon, Author Mrs. Astor Regrets, a book on the last Mrs. Astor, Brooke Russell Astor. Meryl Gordon, a New York Times bestselling author who published “Mrs. Astor Regrets” in 2008, told novelist Doug Brunt on his podcast “Dedicated with Doug Brunt” released Tuesday: “I have read the book and I have very complicated feelings about it.” She cited the last chapter of Cooper’s upcoming biography - “Astor: The Rise and Fall of an American Fortune,” set to be released Sept. 19 - as cause for her “stunned disappointment,” as the 31-page chapter mentioned her own reporting on Astor a whopping 39 times. “So, I’m disappointed. He’s really good at what he does, and I was really curious to see what he would come up with with this topic, and he seems to have come up with my book,” Gordon said. “That’s flattering, but it’s a little annoying too,” the biographer said, adding that Cooper “only did one original interview” with 83-year-old Annette de la Renta for his book, which was co-written by Katherine Howe.

I hope you realize that they are killing the dollar on purpose to usher in a digital currency that will allow the gov to know every purchase you make and allow them to freeze your assets completely. All your travel could be either approved or denied and all of your activities will be monitored. We have much bigger concerns than the debt of a dying economic system.
