The remarkable thing for me is how the kick looked like a body kick right up until it wasn't lol. That's why the opponent's guard was low.

would be interesting but I seriously doubt it. Izzy acts very young but hes actually kinda old (32), and he has also expressed desire to retire after cementing himself as GOAT (probably going to happen after a couple years imo after he cleans up the upcoming generation of MW comp). Anderson's kids are quite young in this game and will probably only hit the UFC in at least 4 years, assuming they find plenty of success in MT and in lower leagues of MMA.

seeing Anderson age and come closer to retirement was always difficult for me, the light years between him and competition throughout most of his career always amazed me (like i am sure everyone else did), there were many people i would tell myself "yeah i would fight with him " but Anderson was just something else he was the one i would have fear of fighting with, out of sheer respect for what he does. Now seeing his sons coming up and that blood and talent running through their veins and them showing those glimpses of greatness just gets me so excited and the fact there is 2 of them?!?! ahhh i am so looking forward to the new gen Silvas, thanks Lawrence as always!

I hope that they're not pressurized from the beginning to be unstoppable like their father. Both have incredible talent, but obviously they'll need to take time and polish their skills. I know Anderson can keep the pressure off of his sons, remember that Anderson suffered some bad losses and was already past 30 before he unlocked his full potential. I hope to see them fight Adesanya at some point, might mirror Izzy's own match with Anderson.

It happens that just yesterday Gabriel Silva was brutally KO. It proves, to my humble opinion, there are not often unexpected geniuses in Martial Arts. Only hard work and perfect practice make fighters, real martial artists. It is clear Gabriel needs a lot, really a lot of hard practice, and may never be a martial artist. Excellent also the victory of Rose Namajunes again Wejli Zang that proves, again, how not recognizing your mistakes is proof you are on the wrong track and is completly not usefull to run after champions to improove. As lowrence underlines in his wonderful course : a champion is almost never your best teacher because he has shaped and understood technique according to his/her unique body and talents. You need someone to show you the way, step after step, slowly, continuosly, in detail and thoroughly.

Even though you are just there to train them, it’s a own workout and it feels like you are the one under attack. It’s not as safe as it may seem behind such cushions.
