Yes but they work much better than actual Gretsches. Still trying to sell my Gretsch since i got a Duesenberg.

Love the 007! I have a Starplayer 'Rebound' Ltd. Edition - love it. Must confess I ordered a Duesenberg P90 for the bridge and have kept the original mini-bucker in the case . . . I wanted that nice mix of P90 & Mini that so many Duesenbergs have. One day I wanna Falken . . . they have quite a 'thoughtful' approach at Duesenberg which I like. Lovely instruments.

I am a Yamaha player, but Duesenberg is my second favorite brand. I find that the Japanese and German ingeneering and craftsmanship are really like minded for quality and ingenuity. As Lee point out about the switches, their design is only logical.

The actor you are on about is George Lazenby also the way they get around different actors playing James Bond is that 007 and the name James Bond is a code name given to you when you take the job. That’s how they will get around him dying in the last movie. Oh and epic guitars haha

Timothy Dalton's were the worst Bond films. It's not his fault; they were shot like TV movies and horrifically poorly written and produced.

For the money I want MORE BLING : ebony fretboard, BIG perloid/abalone inlays, fancy multiply bindings, roasted wood neck, carbon fiber rods reinforced neck, stainless steel frets, PLEK fret leveling ... the whole SHEBANG. A guitar brand that can't offer these "accoutrements" on supposed "high-end" instruments is definitely not a serious brand.
@Zwidawurzn4 ай бұрын
What? So a guitar without bling is not a serious guitar for you? Well, i think Duesenberg guitars are much more serious than your comment and most crap you can get from Gretsch, Fender or Gibson in that price range. They just improved all these old standard parts, so well thought out features, no need for bling if it works as perfect as mine.
@TheWorstManOnEarth4 ай бұрын
@@Zwidawurzn I didn't say that at all ... I said FOR THE PRICES DÜSENBERG PRACTICES, I WANT MORE. So what ? You're going to make a miscarriage about it ??? It's your right not to like that comment, and it's my right to avoid buying these guitars for the reasons mentioned. And comments are there to say what I want to say, no matter if you've paid way too much for your Düsenberg, if you purchased one, and you feel "offended" by such comments about this brand.
@Zwidawurzn4 ай бұрын
@@TheWorstManOnEarth Lol get over yourself. If you can't afford it either save or deal with it. I think it's worth it. You won't get a trem system that nice anywhere else for any price, no matter how much bling. It just works better than whatever you have.
@TheWorstManOnEarth4 ай бұрын
@@Zwidawurzn Oh God ! So, the only interesting thing about these overpriced guitars is the "vibrato systems" (tremolo is intensity, vibrato is pitch). Actually, it isn't, these are Bigsby B5, B7 knockoffs or their LT1 that never really exactly comes back to resting position. Vibrato systems ... apart from Floyd Rose original systems, which is a whole other kind of story, vibrato systems for guitars is like the never ending quest to save your boyfriend. Xandir !
@Zwidawurzn4 ай бұрын
@@TheWorstManOnEarth If you ever tried one you knew these are not even slightly "Bigsby knockoffs" since they can do Floyd Rose trem tricks like flutter and dive bomb (can't do that with a Bigsby) but stay in tune without locking crap and string change is much easier. But there's no point in arguing with you since you're just some aggressive kid hating on a guitar you can't afford. Take your pills, grow up and get a job and you'll be able to afford a proper guitar yourself.
