I really appreciate the thing he said about DAWs. I am definitely not on the DAWless life. I LOVE using a DAW. Ableton is my home. Haha. But there is room for an isolated hardware environment in the process. Damn it I didn't think I'd be going back to MPC because the MPC One didn't work in my studio setup. But this Key 37 is gonna be mine. Great presentation.

That intro beat sounds like Sade. And that's a good thing. I will definitely buy one of these. When it's not red. Hurry, Akai. Gray/black and Retro options, please. I recently sold a Live II. Needed a keyboard with it and got the MPK Mini Plus, but the pairing just was clumsy to use. Wires on devices meant to be ultimately portable. And which device to put on my lap and which to the side? For a desk-based setup, that's fine. For my travel/sofa-lap thing, i just went back to the same controller plus the Macbook Air. But, this makes more sense. It would be so much better with a battery, though-like the Live II. No speakers, just a battery, please....
