@andihamilton Oooof, there's some proper blinders on there. Ulcerate and Nails really stuck out to me. Knocked Loose, Graphic Nature, Peeling Flesh, Gaerea, Disembodied Tyrant, Allt, Spectral Wound and Planet of Zeus were all highlights for me, but my number 1 spot has to go to Joey Valence & Brae. They're like the Beastie Boys crossed with Cypress Hill. Their album, No Hands, was the album I had the most fun with this year.

Fuck me that Devil Blade aesthetic is absolutely top notch. Makes me feel like I'm ten and in an arcade watching a full house of the dead cab and thinking "yeah this is the best things can ever get." GOTY is Like a Dragon inifinite Wealth, proof that the RGG team simply cannot do wrong. A game so generous and enthusiastically crafted it feels impossible.

Devil Blade Reboot is the one game on here I think EVERYONE should play, above all else. It's so instantly loveable.

Great to hear about Slitterhead, that game definitely gave me thoughts and feelings and I wasn't sure if it was just me. It uses game mechanics for storyelling in some subtle ways that I feel like reviewers, even the ones who liked it, missed.

Yeah, there's definitely some elements of Slitterhead's themes that - although I can see them within it - I don't really have the specific life experience to write/talk about with any kind of authority. BUT the fact they were all largely missed kinda shows what most reviewers are actually looking for.

What a stupid argument lol and for a game genere with no story comparing it to a game with a lot of cutscenes/story and very iffy gameplay. What a joke lol. They are different games in different genres that both do aspects well in their genre.

@@andihamilton yeah and Astro bot and Slitterhead are definetly very comparable similar games and genres!......what a joke lol. Oh well your only a small you tube channel that does this as a tiny side thing so I guess you wouldn't put much thought into your script or videos anyway I suppose being realistic

He knows his shit. There's no doubt in my mind that his points are considered and informed. I hope that, one day, you'll realise that, too. @@bearofthewest389 The whole point is that they're not similar games. I'm going to be honest, this is all very basic comprehension of other people's tastes and likes/dislikes you're failing to grasp here. Like, this is something you learn when you're in pre-school.
