I think it would be cool if you did like a weekly viewer cut breakdown. Where we could send you a video of us doing a cut or the final product and you can tell us what were doing well, what could be improved, things we did wrong. I think that could potentially help alot of people out including myself🤙 Big ups my dude! Im gonna have some feeds soon whether I win them or not👊

Good stuff again my brother. I been using Andis Masters so I am kind of bias I have seen people using wahl doing great fades but Andis is my go to clipper.

Sort of double question here: What is the importance of keeping the clipper flat in comparison to flicking, and when do you use the edges of the clippers vs the whole clipper?
@bkhavityoway233 жыл бұрын
@@KZbinBarberAcademy Thx for the reply. Can you elaborate on how you get the first taper line out? I know you start with #1 open then slowly close it. Then you go to the half and do the same. BUT whenever i do it, even if i go at angle, i start to get more lines and the bald gets a little crazy.
@johnjackson91794 жыл бұрын
When I was in Barber school 38yrs again the teachers taught us when doing a taper or fade don't put the line straight in but sweep your clipper up and out because if you don't do this you work harder trying to get that original line out.

Great video ! These are my go to clippers and I sometimes find it difficult finding that perfect balance when using them together.

Did you zero gap your masters? If so, do they still open all the way up to a number 1?
@baleDELgavilan7134 жыл бұрын
Do they?
@waltuno7525 жыл бұрын
Dope video , is it possible to talk about Zero gapping the Andis Masters , i can’t completely zero gap mine otherwise it eats away at the guards , just want to know if thats with all Masters , the Wahls can be zero gapped and doesn’t eat away at the guards
@bleugrassblendz3065 жыл бұрын
When setting your guidelines do you want to hold the clipper flat then when you attack the lines angle the clipper a bit and as you go up or go down adjust your lever accordingly? I have always “flicked” out and used the corners to remove the guidelines but I have found inconsistencies in my cuts
@Daracle5 жыл бұрын
I love your videos. Apologies if you covered this before but did you do any adjustments to your clippers? Zero gapped or anything? Assuming your rule for the Masters Open and the Seniors open being just off enough for a good blend wouldn’t be valid if the blades were adjusted in anyway?

What about the andias fade master...have you ever tryed it
@andrescollado74993 жыл бұрын
Its been years since ive had decent fade. The contrast and shade of my hair makes it hard to fade for me. That's why ive asked alot of ppl. Even you sir. How can i blend it to where it's blurry. Ive been going for a low fade. I have straight hair. But some spots in my head are lighter color. For example where the first/ 2nd guidline starts is where my issue is. Its hard to see the diff between my hair color when starting with no gaurd open to close. Plz help sir. Again all i want is a nice fade. I bought Morrehl clippers from amazon cuz i dont have much for bugdet. But I'll save up if I know its just the clippers. Plz help sir I beg you plz. Im rock bottom

Are the fast feeds still your go to clippers? Also, when you say the blade on the masters with no guard opens to a 1 do you mean the length of a #1 guard or #1 detachable blade?
@manny19655 жыл бұрын
Eliseo Torres #1 detachable which is basically a #0 guard with Close lever.

I think the people who like masters(me) leaned toward them from jump because they appear to b more durable because of the housing it’s in and I was also told andis were better because in the neighborhood the garage barbers was of the mindset eagles got got super fast. All tht may or may not b true anymore. Kinda like Hyundai use to b bad cars now they are decent running cars

Its hard because im trying to remember what position is OPEN and what Position is CLOSE. What they call up on clipper. I call down BUT i learned to remove a line last week. But working only one day a week im not being able to learn quicker. YOU WATCH A FILM THEN PUT OUT ON A FAST PASTE FLOOR. Back in school they don't teach men hair cutting. AND DOES THE EVERY CUT HAS A SKIN FADE. SO BASICILY you teaching yourself.

In the Heat of Florida,do you ever get together with a buncha 'Fellow-Barbers' at the Beach or in a Park and Oil each other down before laying-out on towels while wearing posing trunks (0r a halfa Peanut shell tied-on with some 5-lb fishing-line round the waist and between the legs) and drink beer and Mint-Juleps and just Chew the Cud about Hair-styles,etc?
