Yeh, need to get it sorted, this is kinda my process - try then test & typically try again but once you learn it. Its easy work that's billable..

21:50 the 5th pad along on the back row was missing half of the foot/pad on the board, hopefully that was connected ok I need one of this scope magnifying screens things, I’ll definitely order one :)

Yeh, that pad actually lifted while i was re placing the leaded solder, was still connected electrically and didn't make the issue any worse.. Also found out I can use my USBC to HDMI/USB3/USBC adaptor as a dock so could test the cable both ways and still didn't work, but did with the next switch.

I’m working on a switch lite atm, I replaced the port (badly I think) but it’s only charging very slowly. I’ll replace the port again and try the heat from underneath trick ;)

I've been playing with inverters of late, have a Xantrax one here that I connected up to 48v by accident and it is only a 24v inverter, I can't fix it as yet, love to give your ones a go. I'm in forest Lake
